Miru sells out every event anyway so it doesn't matter. Her fans don't need to "try harder" since the result is the same so it won't have any affect on her senkyo position.

The team songs will definitely be new team songs. That's been confirmed with all the secret filming everyone has been doing with their new teams. I do think there will be a new Queentet song though. Whether that's in this single or a separate Queentet release I'm not sure. But it makes sense considering Queentet has a concert coming up.

I think this is an incredibly conservative senbatsu that's more concerned with pleasing everyone (20 members?!) since literally no one was hard done (except maybe Yukitsun but I hope she wasn't actually expecting to get in) and they brought back the entire BokuNaki senbatsu plus 4 members.

I was disappointed in the center but based on Nagisa's comments that this might be another comedy song like Kitaken or Warota People, I will reserve my judgment until I see it. I thought this would have been the perfect time for a fresh start with Yuuri but I guess management is more concerned with keeping current fans happy. Maybe they'll be more bold in the next single.

Me too, she has this deep but not so deep voice. Tbh, it's a shame she didn't choose vocal in Pd48. I'm sure she will get more attention that way

I don't know... nowhere in the line, or the entire post Sayanee was mentioned.
Or you meant, in the actual announcement, it did talk about Sayanee? Then I'm sorry, I didn't follow the announcement in real time.

You said earlier "the only member" not "at least one member". And as I said, until she grad, which then means she was not the first one whose strike was broken, for example, Nana was also in all senbatsu until she grad. And the line didn't say, "the first single without Sayanee."

Plus, the line didn't say, "The first single where none of the senbatsu member has been in all NMB senbatsus". It said the opposite, "the first single where everybody has been at least one senbatsu".

On that thought, it is not the first single where everybody has been at least one senbatsu, because this is Minami Haasa and Yamamoto Mikana's first time in senbatsu, they have been in zero senbatsu before, because "has been" would exclude this current senbatsu and just encompass the previous ones.

i mean, it wouldn't have been bad that Management squeezed Akari for all her worth now that she's still hot, but a Miru center is always lovely and I was waiting for this

Since they may release a single (or album lol) in June/July I expect Miru to center again (just sort of having it be done production wise it would probably be filmed and everything before SSK). Akarin really should have been the center imo for this single since she's more than enough proved herself in 2018. And she's also first gen and same age as Miru so they really wouldn't be "losing" much. Except maybe that ridiculous golden mic thing in that singapore song lol.

I'm so glad Kokochan is in again. And Chihhii too. Nice to know it will be the new teams, for some reason I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Everything has to be about sousenkyo to you guys huh :fp:

I’m really hoping to see a new Queentet song on this single! Now that they’re down to 4 members, it feels like a perfect time to give them a new song

Not every girl suffers from this tunnel vision. And sousenkyo doesn't occur every day of the year.

Since Sayanee was the only 1st gen member left to participate in every single's senbatsu since #1, with her graduation there are no members in this Senbatsu that have been in every single senbatsu since the groups formation, and there won't ever be one again. He just worded it wrong, I don't think we need a whole interrogation over that one sentence of trivia lol

Miru seemed to be quite effected by her SSK drop, and this is her first center since that happened, and she is the member they were talking about, so the discussion is valid, no?

Anyway, I'm happy to see a miru center, it would be good to get this single out of the way, push her back into senbatsu (alongside yuuri?) and then push yuuri from the next single, aayan center can come next year lol. The lineup looks solid, for a lot of people who mostly only focused on Sayanee, this might look like a whole new group to them lol, so this is a great year for mgmt to push the new faces of nmb alongside the most popular and aces of the group.

Do you want to be center so you can get higher in senkyo or is doing well in senkyo a way to get center? What is more important?

And to be clear, Miru was affected immediately after. Its not like she kept talking about senkyo throughout the year. Why don't we ask Miru if she would rather get into senkyo senbatsu but lose the NMB center to Yuuri which one she wants.

^Ask her then lol, it doesn't negate my point.
If she didn't give a damn about her position, I doubt they would have brought up her SSK rank and the upcoming election, but she does, so they did.

No point asking questions we both know the answer to.

Oh I wasn't trying to say the discussion is not valid; for sure it is. But since sousenkyo nerds are gonna do their autistic jabbering again then might as well poke fun at them ;)

I saw the notification on my phone after waking up. I watched it. I wanted to scream. I love this so much. Wow. Correct me if I’m wrong, but besides the Zetsumetsu throwback, aren’t some visuals and dance part of other songs they’ve done?

I am with HappySakuraHappy. I really like the song as well. Yes some of the visuals are from Zetsumetse, the beginning and the end. A little nice throwback. The "uh ho" in the beginning is like Warota People as well as kinda the outfit Miru has during the close ups. Can't be sure on the dance-parts though. But yeah I quite like it. :)
