FINALLY. I knew this was going to happen. December 2012 was 4th Gen so this was needed. I am really excited to see the new members and all we have is the announcement...
About damn time! Applications finish on March 20th, I gather? I hope it doesn't take as long for them to announce the winners like SKE's last one (applications finished in August and they were revealed in March -.-). I guess AKB is waiting for all the sister groups to replenish their lines before opening their doors.
Finally. I hope they get members with good singing and dancing skills, good variety skills and very good gravure bodies. I wonder what will be next? NGT 2nd, AKB 16th or SKE 8th? EDIT: Maximum 22? Do we need another Sally/Isokana/Oonao? But then again in SKE 7th gen auditions there was a 22 year old.
Erm... NGT's 1st gen just debuted and SKE's 7th is still half-promoted. It's obviously AKB's turn next. I think they're leaving them for the last ones because everybody would audition for them. This way the sister groups get a bit more fuss.

NGT 2nd and SKE 8th would be too fast for now, but I can mid 2017 would be a good time for that. Next should be AKB 16th! I'm excited! The additions to 48G has been great lately (NGT & SKE 7th). Now we are getting NMB 5th and HKT 4th. I can't wait.
Finally! NMB is the last sister to get a new gen! SKE 7th gen start in fall 2014, NGT was Spring/Summer of 2015 and HKT 4th gen audition finish th 29th Feb 2016! Maybe I will start fellowing NMB with this 5th gen!
Welp, guess I should be preparing myself to watch a NEW ACE be found and airdropped above everyone except SayaMilky. And for my oshi in waiting to be pushed farther down the ranks. Wait, what? Dang, 4th gen are racing against time here. They have at least 1-2 single before we saw another Super-KKS rise and promotion. Talk about Wake-up call. On the other hand, HKT are still auditioning. This ask for gen comparison in the long run! long story short, I'm against this, but whatever. Should we start the 5D2 hype now?
Just yesterday I've been talking about how I need a 5th Generation so someone other then Ririka will be interesting to me... Seems promising - really promising, to be honest. My attention for now goes to Mirai-chan (Mizukawa Mirai), Momorun (Iwata Momoka), Mion-chan (Nakagawa Mion) and Aayan (Yamamoto Ayaka).
