Everything about this episode was magical. And the Hoshimiona hug at the end pretty much sealed the deal for me.

 

I did the climb last year! The friend I was climbing with had to stop before the top because he got altitude sickness so I know exactly what Reika was going through. It really is no joke, and they didn't show the most painful part of the climb! (going back down)

 

^Altitude sickness is serious. When I climbed Fujisan I passed a girl crying at one of the stations near the summit. I thought something tragic had happened but found out she was unable to continue due to nausea.

Ngzk really picked a horrible day to climb too. However, once you pass the cloud line it's typically nice and sunny. I cannot agree with you more with the descent. It is hell! I slipped and fell several times so I'm wondering how Manattan did coming back down. Hats off to all of them (Captain included). "A wise man will climb Mt Fuji once; a fool will climb Mt Fuji twice."

It would be perfect if Captain could also reach the top. But, i think i knew what she felt. At the beginning of this year, I did climb. But, not as high as Fuji mountain It was my first time. In midway, i felt so tired. too tired to move my body. And with the high altitude, I felt like I was getting harder to breath. but after took a rest for a while, I could continue the climb and reach the top..It was my first time, and i think it also be my last. LOL.

Some members of akb already climbed the Fuji too... but if i remember they didn't reach the summit. (or at least, the weather wasn't as awful)

I don't know how the altitude sickness is awful but... i suffer acrophobia and when i tried to climb one of the tallest Mexican pyramids, well... Reika looked so good when compared how i was... but i salute the girls for doing something that i can never do!

 

Wow the ending felt like I was watching the last episode to a drama, so heartwarming. I hope this single goes out with a bang too! I've reluctantly done some climbing as well, the first time is really hard but your body somewhat gets used to it after you experience some other climbs. Kind of funny cause I have a fear or heights and I even get startled riding on escalators and elevators lool. It was a good decision for captain to stop there and I am proud that the girls gave it their all climbing up Mt. Fuji.

WOW awesome ending. I absolutely loved this Ano Hi Boku wa performance, The front 3 looked great while Kotoko,Karin and Iori did really well.
Also the costume look totally fine but the lack of focus on ROTTI got me really mad... PLEASE atleast zoom on her once because her hair was different than usual.
Next episode will be quite exciting seeing all the member are there.
