Can anyone give me a proper translation possibly of what Ogiyuka said about Miichan in the last episode of Downtown DX she appeared on? As far as I understood it, she was saying Miichan can still take the train cause she only ranked 32nd in SSK but she can't because she ranked 3rd? Given that Miichan is Ogiyuka's senpai, isn't that something really rude to say?

But if I misunderstood, I would gladly be corrected. Here's a link to the video.

(P.S.: I know Yuka apologised already but I'd still like to know what it was that she said exactly, if someone could be so kind)

 

Both of them can ride the bullet train, but only Miichan can currently buy 1st class tickets (Green Cars). According to ie. this page (https://www.insidekyoto.com/jr-trains-green-cars-versus-ordinary-cars), the Green Cars are usually even quieter than the normal cars and they're less crowded.

But why is she apologising for saying that Miichan is riding the Green Car?

 

Only reason that comes to my mind at the moment is that she deliberately said aloud the exact amount of votes and the ranks they both received, as if to underline the difference. This is a guess, however, based on the Downtown video - would you have a SSN post/SR video where I could see her apology and its context?

Ah, then it seems that she apologized for speaking about her senpai like that. Miichan's tweet was "I like the upright Ogiyuka who contacts me in advance (tl. note: possibly before the case had the opportunity to blow up) Thanks for introducing me on the show!".

If you're not sure: Kamen Joshi literally means masked girls is an idol group known for wearing mask. Famed gravure idol group Jun Amaki was a member until she graduated to focus in nude modelling.

@Humbucker Ogiyuka is vocalist/guitarist of an indie pop/dream pop/twee which I'm a fan of. FFO: Asobi Seksu, Beach House, Alvvays. Lol kidding. If I could attend handshake with her soon, I'd suggest her to begin learning any musical instrument. ^^

 

Ogiyuka is the center for the 4th NGT single, set to be released on 25th September

 

Since she's the center again, I'd be all down with them making the 4th single a band song just like Give me Five! -- NGT version -- with Ogiyuka as vocal/rhythm guitar! \m/

I have no interests to watch majimuri. I prefer to watch that anime about human blood for anything in Japanese TV this summer.

But looks like Ogiyuka is a member of the villainous team but the boss is actually Hinata isn't her?

Comparing to Star Wars, Ogiyuka = Anakin aka Vader & Hinata = Palpatine aka Sidious. The individual villain with most screen times isn't the boss of the faction.

I'm aspiring to study astronomy in Japan then if I got the working visa, I'd work in an observatory in Gunma, a neighboring prefecture of Niigata but seems when I could work that, Ogiyuka already graduated. wwwwww
