I'm in England on the south coast most of the year. MCM expo, yes I will be there =D Not sure what I'm wearing yet but looks like it'll be lolita again The MCM expo is kinda like Japan expo in paris but like...much smaller and the guests are usually from cult TV shows. Oh it's also not entirely japan centric. The guests this time are from a town called Eureka, I think. It's bi-yearly too. I really just go to meet up with people and play games all day xD

Not an S48 fan ( ) but an AKB fan you bet. Residing in Stockholm, Sweden. Not really interested in concerts here in Europe (audience usually piss me off), I'd rather spend my money on a trip to Japan and go for super enpo.
^welcomes! i actually have seen lots swedish guys around the AKB fandom in internets (if we are talking about scandinavians). I wish finland wasn't so damn stuck with H!P (i pretty much know only akb haters from here [wonder] ) from sweden's point of view, is there many akb fans over there?
I'm from York, England. I don't know anyone that likes AKB48, but there are a number of J rock fans around in the UK
If you hang out with young people interested in Japan in general (and not only anime), most of them know about the group. But I have only met two or three who actually watch their TV shows and stuff. None of them knows all of the girls names though.
Not really. As Pollinic said many people interested in Japanese multimedia know the group. But most sweds go for jrock or kpop instead of idol pop these days. We're a handful people in my city who are quite serious fans. I would say most of them have posted here already :B. We meet up and have a blast, whether it's to watch random akb stuff or just hang out. It's really a wonderful thing knowing people in the same area who have the similiar passion for something as yourself, even though our oshis are different. And I have people irl to share my joy with when I recieve goodies.. XDD I consider us very lucky though. XD
I'm from sweden as well, göteborg Seen akb live once at Tokyo Aki Matsuri last autumn. Was awesome in spite of the soaking rain. I'm moving to Tokyo soon to study so looking forward to catch as many concerts i can afford Surprised to see a lot of swedes here actually!
