I love Asuka so much that I am really curious about this. Is Asuka VERY popular in Japan right now or is she very popular in Nogi fandom only? As it is quite hard to gauge one's popularity but I am yet to see her 'presence' in Japan aside from the CMs and performances on TV shows which imo do not potrayed her much in the spotlight as she still is below Maiyan/Naachan.

IMHO in 2019 she need to have one solo centre in dark/intense song to showcase her ability and aura much much more. That is all I ask. For the sake of Nogizaka46 going forward to, they need to utilize, maximize everything, they have right now.

Totally an anecdote but my coworkers knew her name and they don't know/aren't interested in Nogi.
