I always thought Mocchi should have a solo project or at least a single, I can't wait for this. She's a good singer and so beautiful that I'm sure the promos and art will look great. Now just to pray that Aki P gives her awesome songs and concepts and not something lame and boring or rehashed.

It seems winning the JRA competition is another way to stardom.

By the way she'll also have a CM, a photobook, and 5 magazine appearance, just like Tomo-mi.

  So for this part, they're having what they call the "Jacket 1 Grand Prix" race to commemorate the CD release. It's not literally a race, but 5 magazine companies will compete in it for pride. Each of the different 500-yen CD versions will have its CD jacket created by a different magazine company and you "vote" for a particular one by buying it. Whichever company has the highest sales wins.
  
  The 5 participating magazines are:
  
  Box 1 (White): Young Champion (By Akita Shonen) - AVCA-62485
  Box 2 (Black): FRIDAY (By Kodansha) - AVCA-62486
  Box 3 (Red): B.L.T. (By TOKYO NEWS) - AVCA-62487

  The winning applicant will get a date with Mocchi at the Tokyo Racetrack where she can give you betting tips.

MOCCHI!!!!!

This was completely out the blue, what a pleasant surprise of a debut. Mocchi is not an oshi of mine but she's always been a member I had a soft spot for. I wonder what kind of style she will have... I bet the PB and CD shoots will be wonderful though with such a beauty gracing them. I have a pretty firm "one copy per subunit/soloist" limit but if this debut is anywhere as good (or better) then Jane Doe and Soredemo then I may have to buy all vers. of these tbh. Ah Mocchi, congrats. ;_____;

Now the wait for details about the songs and the PB.

CDJapan isn't slacking when it comes to listing her single. They're already available for pre-order.

Wow! Talk about unexpected! Jeeze, at this point, pretty much almost all the popular girls in AKB will have solo music careers lol. But Asuka is rising up in my ranks so I'll definitely be looking out for this!

Not a good date to be releasing a single really given the election dates but I've pre-ordered the CD+DVD version.

Kuramochi is a member who I have great respect for with her willingness to try doing things, (the Gachinko Challenge (I think) episode where she had to do rock climbing springs to mind ... unlike some other members placed in that sort of situation there was no crying etc, it was more; ok what do you want me to do? and then just do it).

If she's getting a Photobook too then I'll have to look at getting a copy of that as well as she is, after all, a very attractive young lady

This is great news.
I love her voice. Her voice blend well with Yukirin in Candle no Shin.
Can't wait to hear her songs.
I hope this will help her gain some votes this year.
It seems Watanabe Ent don't want the bad results of FK girls last year to happen again. I hope there's a project too for Akicha or FK's new single perhaps. [nod]

Now that everyone in French Kiss has a solo debut, all that's left is Akicha. I wonder if she'll ever get her chance.

About time she gets some recognition.

Half of the A-sides she's been in are election/janken related. And the other half are from the big senbatsus for summer singles, which is like a who cares who's in line-up.

This could be some good promo for her for the election! She would need to go up 5 spots to get into senbatsu, which is a bit unlikely... but she could center the UG!
