Can;t believe they dropped Haruna Kishino was always borderline for being dropped.
Yogi being dropped as well? that's surprising.

Akarin back in, Tanigawa in, those are fairly obvious choices.
Murakami over ayanyan doesn't make sense to me... but then I guess apart from Momoka, the 1st gen formers KKS don't get much love.

yea, i'm still waiting for the official announcement. all i can do is check g+ and the official website, i don't know where else to get such information =(

kishino dropping is saddening because i think she's one of the more talented in singing and dancing of the group. hopefully she gets something good in the original stage, then.
kinoshita h is a bit frustrating, but honestly i think she just shines more on variety shows. like that of the naniwa nadeshiko type. which we sorely need back.
surprised at keira dropping too. perhaps the cuteness of keira and jo that management was counting on is not going over well with fans.

i'm also surprised at aya-nyan being passed over, she was selected a lot as a replacement.

i'm more curious of what kind of song it'll be, perhaps they actually have artistic elements in mind when they chose the senbatsu and that's why those 3 were dropped?

I'm glad that Fuu-chan is still in Senbatsu, though a bit surprised at the lack of Kinoshita Haruna and Keira. Of course, they might be in Manatsu-like situations where they want them to kick it up a notch, but it might be too early for that.

Haruna is good for varieties, but I think a lot of NMB girls are good at variety, so it's hard to say she can be the Naniwa Nadeshiko type when there are so many other good girls. And Akarin is back.

I'm wondering what kind of song we'll have. Since it's a May release, I wonder if it will be the annual overseas swimsuit PV. I sorta hope not though, because having 3 groups do the same sort of thing will be boring. Even though Pareo and Ebi Katsu weren't bad. I'm hoping NMB continues to do some more unique things like they've done with Junjou.

hmm, if this is accurate then I gotta say I quite like that senbatsu, we were always going to loose some of team N for the benefit of M (even if this is not accurate that will be the case I think) I am surprised that Yogi may not be in, thought she would stay....

i was thinking that too, but with jou in and kishino out (i recall the announcer during the swimsuit competition saying she had a nice body... his words not mine) it wouldn't make much sense either...

I just viewed my calendar and this got me thinking, what is Aki-P thinking. [think]

Sashi's solo debut is on the 2nd of May and so as Nogizaka46's 2nd single release which falls on a Wednesday and then the next Wednesday we got NMB48 with this new single. Isn't too early to release another Single just after the other when the same fans might be one buying it.

Their timing is kinda off IMO.

they're thinking one of two things:

-they're trying to instigate rivalries to start bringing out the best in them, to make them more competitive; not just the girls but the production companies and everyone involved so that they can skill up

-OOH MONEY MONEY MONEY

Probably both or is there some big names releasing near this date. They must have been avoiding clash with the other popular artist, hmm.... NMB48 might want to maintain a 4th straight single at no.1.

The timing thing happened with Junjou as well. It was SKE, then 2 weeks later NMB then a week later AKB. Their singles come in bunches. The way they are growing, what with sub groups, solo's and more groups in general, maybe it's AKI-P's plan to have a number 1 single every week for an entire year

I only recall seeing a tiny portion of that, I wasn't really interested since most of these girls were so young, but Kishino is part of the older crowd in NMB, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Though, if they get the sick marine uniforms that Everyday Kachuusha or Pareo wa Emerald got, I'd be fine with a beach single. Those Pareo uni's were a work of art.

Hmm.. last year I was inundated with work I can't think about Idols, more so trying to the see the pattern of their single release.

I still find it a bummer even if its been a year since implementation.

I'm currently writing NMB's new song.
It's along the same lines as "Ponytail to shushu" and "Everyday Kachusha"
It's not a lower quality version though.
