That wasn't that bad! Considering it's a pretty difficult song vocally anyway, plus the nature of the dance which makes it hard to do both... coulda been worse? 8D;; (Was EVERYONE live, though? [wonder] At some points it sounded like it was just the background track...)

I seriously cannot handle how much of a crush on Nonti I have. She is so gorgeous. :cute:

It's not like they get much practice at the AKB theatre. :fear:

I actually like GAGAGA, but I think the live would have been better if the song wasn't a whiney song and they were actually well...sing-singing like they do at the theatre...

    GAGAGA a difficult song???? [think]

Yukari never was a great singer [rofl] [rofl] so its normal to see her fail. More or less goes the same with Meetan [rofl] [rofl] .

Not a bad performace all in all, but I still dont like this song [rofl]

I mean, not that it's that hard of a song or dance, but... it's probably kinda difficult to sing like that while dancing?

It has nothing to do with being a good singer or not. But to go from singing from your throat (aka speaking voice) to your diaphragma (aka when you sing from your "tummy") is not an easy task to do while dancing. so I wouldn't be too harsh on Yukarin or Meetan even if they haven't been the most solid live singers before :) <3

Oh, I forgot to mention I saw the Eros no Trigger PV Thursday night at the Theater, as well as Sado e Wataru last week...

Overall I really liked it. It was sort of LOL-worthy IMO...at least the Nachu being sexy scenes were. She just has such a big face! The beginning is kind of "Bond-esque" with a bullet cutting through the scene, and some obvious "L" undertones to the PV. I was busy watching for Chaki, and was swooning when she got felt up, but I don't remember by who  ...

Now Sado e Wataru is a friggin sexy PV. They showed it last Saturday during triple-birthday show. Very K-pop-ish. But the girls are dressed in men's shirts and ties with lingerie underneath being doused with water.

Still Gagaga is my favorite. But I am so happy to be getting both versions.

I forgot to mention that Eros no Trigger for some reason reminded me of the PV for N*A*G*A*R*A by Idoling!!! Mainly because of the setting. There is a repeated scene where the girls are all lying together like they are a harem.

On the 13th, idol group SDN48 performed at Oricon’s newcomer live event. They performed “GAGAGA” which will be their major debut song released on the 24th. When the lyrics say “GA GA GA”, the girls move their right elbows left and right as part of the choreography. The members instructed the audience, “When you can’t say what you want clearly, or if you want your words to be ambiguous, please use this. Like this, to your superiors, “How was GAGAGA today?””. Their sister group AKB48 has been nominated for the “Buzzword Award”, so next year maybe the older sisters’ “GAGAGA” will become a buzzword!?

Thank you so much for pointing this article out. Trying to figure out what exactly GAGAGA was supposed to be in the context of the song was driving me nuts. XD

Speaking of, I've actually put the translation up on my blog, although the Korean parts are... uh... yeah. >.>
