Single [Single] SKE48 - [Gomen ne, Summer] - 2010/07/07

I know, I still find it amusing, though.

 

Yeah, considering Koda Kumi was the queen of the business a little while ago. YAY SKE!

I don't think I've ever talked about this single. It's definitely my favourite SKE single (not that there's a large selection ha ha) & I'm torn between which undergirls I like the most. I love Mikotti, Airin & Rikki but on the other hand, I adore Makiko & Tomonyan. & both songs are AMAZING. I just.. don't know which one to buy. XD

 

But that's because Koda's latest singles have sucked. :/

 

I just read the whole thread & I gotta say something:

Both MM and SKE are idol groups. Thus they produce idol music. I don't understand why people said "This sounds too much like H!P." while both groups produce, generally, the same music. XD;

I must say, though, that I love every song off of this single, other than Pinocchio Gun. I just don't like that song. Although TG did have my secondary SKE oshi~ :3 (Reika) I especially loved Shoujo. The PV was amazing & Makiko looks adorable with glasses.

 

Yes, Morning Musume and SKE are idol groups, but they both have distinct sounds. I personally don't think any of the songs on this single sound anything like H!P. At all.

 

^ I think Pinocchio Gun is actually pretty reminiscent of like... 4th Ikimasshoi-era Morning Musume; it has a similar feel to The*Peace, Koko no Iruzee or Souda! We're Alive (which is one of the reasons I like it so much). That's just my opinion, though. I don't really think the other songs sound like H!P at all, but as previously stated, it's all idol music; I'm sure some H!P group has done something like it at some point. XD;

 

I'm completely late but I finished downloading the ISOs yesterday.

I like Gomenne Summer very much, I'm glad sales are that good.

For me, the 2 songs of the Under Girls just suck, especially the B one. Have to forget them.

And well, I love Pinocchio Gun. That was a real nice surprise for me (even if I know none of these Theater Girls). It's really dynamic and kind of wtf. I guess it could be a music of Lucky Star. Anyway, adding River to this, they seem to like military contexts, no ? Girls on a tank. [cool]

To be fair to Koda Kumi, her singles doing well digitally (number 2 on ringtone charts) and SKE48 isn't in the top 100
I hope SKE's next single can sell even more! (and Aki gets a solo song )

 

H!P and SKE have very different sounds.

I can tell right of the back if I was playing an H!P song but with SKE it might take me a few secs since they sound similar to AKB.
