Gimmicks were reduced, as only 24 members participated in the HS and Request Hour had this really weird 5 day voting window in the middle of preordering period, so it's quite good in my books

 

Welp, looks like they beat Not yet's record by 9k, though this 2 unit can never be compared.

 

＊Is the 5-Day window a shorter window than usual for RH-voting？
＊If so, I guess it couldn't be helped because of the proximity of the window to the actual eventXD；；　

 

Last year the voting period was 7/30 to 8/31
And RH in early Nov
I have no idea before that tho

Iam not sure on what to think about this single.
It more or less recieved the same treatment as a regular SKE single and got an extra gimmick, which is much more than a unit release could get in the past.
Shall we consider it as an SKE release ? (The way i see it, it is released in place of an SKE single).
Or did they use it as an experiment to test some possible new markets ?

 

Well Yuasa said it wasn't a SKE release and won't affect the normal release schedule of the singles.
Mae no Meri was released in August and we already got our 3 singles in 2015 so it may be true. But if we don't get a new single in January-February then it was bullshit lol.

 

SKE had 2 singles this year + this single. They used to have 1 in March, 1 in summber and 1 in winter. Love Crescendo replaced the winter november/december single

 

LC isn't an SKE release but a sub-group one. Nothing to be confused about.
It was put in place of a regular SKE single sure but that's because management is still unsure how to move on from Rena's graduation.
Plus if you compare it with NMB's MBN, they're still following somewhat a pattern of having smaller senbatsu for the last single of the year. (Remember the fresh W centers last year?)
I remember Yuasa saying something along the lines of the next single will have a strict 16nin though,,

 

Lol I don't know how to count, Kangaroo was indeed in December...
If we get a single in January I'll consider that the schedule didn't change much.
But the way they sold this single was strange too. You had such a small window to buy your RH tickets for example and the rounds opened super late (probably because of AKB single lol).

Yuasa tends to say stupid shit on 755 so I don't really trust anything he says. He said the next senbatsu will be 16nin and members "who don't work hard" won't be able to be in senbatsu... Thought it was so stupid to say that.
Not super happy for 16nin if it's true either cause right now they have to experiment different girls in senbatsu so 16nin is limited (but there are 2 free spots with Rena and Godou grad).
One of the spot is going to Rara for sure.

 

I called it "sugary talk". We all know some SKE girls are senbatsu locks anyway.

This sub-unit sold quite well considering not as many members participated~~ it's like half of what SKE usually sells~~
