I feel the same way. I also didn't know there were more purikura than one and rumours of smoking/drinking. That's far worse than Kikuchi who got fired and also than the SKE girls, I believe? Not that I know much of the SKE scandals. I haven't gotten to know the second gen KKS because I will once a team is solidly decided, but yeah.

Don't remember it all, but it was when the wotas started harassing him due the purikuras, he said something meaning "for idols, wotas are only worth their money", "money is the only good thing about wotas", "leave your money on your way out" or similar. And it looks like it was true, someone threw her a 10,000 yen bill while she was apologizing about the purikuras (although some others say it were 30,000 yens).

By the way, Togasaki tweeted a reply from someone asking about Shimada's position. Basically he supports her, saying past shouldn't burden the girls who are trying to grow into idols.

Well, according to her ex and his friends they did go out while she was in NMB (in their private blog, confirmed real by the management), though she says that they lied (with her idol career on the line).

From what I read: Shimada's (ex?) boyfriend posting about an "anniversary condom" on his blog definitely provided some fuel for the wotas to dislike him and react negatively. His reaction to the wota "attacks" didn't help the situation.

At this point, I'm a Otani Riko supporter but the Shimada Rena drama is quite entertaining. It is kind of unrealistic to think a 17 year old girl wouldn't have had a boyfriend, but being an idol comes with responsibilities and expectations so I'm curious to see how this will all play out.

^The fact that someone posted about an "anniversary condom" seems really sleazy to me. Like, I'm very pro-sex, but I don't just go and post on my Facebook, "Hey, y'all, I'm using my anniversary condom tonight! Wish me luck!"

Off topic: Shimarena should try to move on because her future dating prospects could definitely level up if she does well in NMB. Best case scenario, she ends up like Mikitty, Nono, Ishiguro or Yaguchi (MoMusu). Worst case scenario she ends up like Kago (MoMusu) or Saito (Melon Kinenbi).

Wow, I feel really bad for Shimarena.
Her ex(?)-boyfriend is trying to ruin her idol life. I mean, he could have quietly supported her but instead he angers wotas and continues to post pictures of them together. After I saw the kissing picture I cringed for her. Her (male) fan base probably took a really hard hit with that.

On a different note, Keira has a good position.
