Stage48 "Best Of 2010" Awards (Closed!)

Results!

Another year, another whole truckload of music. With so much to enjoy, we should just be grateful and listen to it all, right?! WRONG! We must pit every song and PV and DVD against another, and see which has won our hearts and minds, crawling its way to the top upon the broken bodies of its enemies to be declared THE BEST OF 2010!

The rules

1) Each registered user can only submit one entry.

2) From the list of categories in the following post, supply your votes (each category says how many times you can vote) via PM.

3) Entries close Sunday, 23 January 2011 at 6:00 PM Tokyo time. Click the link to see when that is in your time zone.

4) Don't post your entry in the thread, to keep some semblance of a surprise when the results are published.

5) You can leave a category blank if you want (no vote for it).


Before I list the categories to vote in, a bit of advice. Since people ALWAYS, ALWAYS, WITHOUT FAIL, submit dodgy or misspelt or otherwise annoyingly wrong answers that interfere with the counting process, I'll outline a very simply method of submitting your vote.

step 1. Copy and paste the entire category list into somewhere you can edit it (the PM's text box, Notepad, Word, etc). Alternatively, simply press the "PM" button underneath my avatar on the post with the categories, and it will quote everything for you in the PM.

step 2. Read each category, and then delete the things you don't want to vote for, so the only lines left are the categories and the votes. (Please leave the categories there so I know what you're voting for. You can delete the "notes" and stage titles in brackets though because those are purely for your reference)

step 3. Complete that process for every category and submit it.

step 4. ...

step 5. Profit!

Any votes that are bizarrely misspelt, numbered in some annoying and clumsy fashion, or any other dodgy thing that makes my life harder will be IGNORED. Don't type out the answers yourself. Don't number them beyond what they already are. Just copy the text, remove the stuff you don't like, and then submit. It's that easy, it really is!

Also, I've tried my best to include everything that came out, but due to the simple fact that everything on the internet is hopelessly incomplete (song names, set lists, everything), I'm sure I've missed things, especially when it comes to the shuffle units in concerts (note: my definition of a shuffle unit is where EVERY member is different, not just Acchan getting different background dancers etc). If you see something missing, let me know. Specifically thinking of SKE48, as I'm not familiar with most of their music so can't find much information on who sang what in the DVDs.

Note I've purposely excluded Teams E and N, because they didn't really do anything in 2010, they'll be "new" in the "best of 2011" voting, assuming Reptoids haven't conquered the Earth. And even though A5, K5, B4 and KII were performed in 2010, I'm not including them in the "current" category, because they're not current (and they got DVD releases). And yes, the final category IS there as flamebait. Enjoy!

Line spacing isn't an issue. I'm just going to copy and paste it all into Excel, so I want everything to be basically the same so it will automatically sort correctly without me having to fix things. You can delete the "notes" and things in brackets since they're just for your information though.

If someone can give me the track list then I can put it in. I couldn't find the details in the wiki or the forum thread so I dunno.

Ok, I've added the album tracks in a new category at the end... I didn't have any place for them because no (real) albums were released in 2009 so didn't even think of it...

I'm not going to make any more changes to the list, except for typos or whatever. If it's wrong then eh.
