anyone knows why shitara-san called her shokichi/sokichi on the latest episode? is her name readable in that way too?
It's a nickname. Last year, if you remember, for the Actually hit campaign, she kept pulling shokichi at the shrines while Mayutan was pulling daikichi. Shitara called her that then. See episode 354 from April of last year.
Definitely one of the most succesful nicknames for a member. Especially this wonderful little brat. She's so cute but at the same time super determined and motivated, that she can take this nickname easily for the spirit at which it was given. I believe (and hope) that her luck throughout the Nogizaka years will be big and shiny! Personally I laugh so much whenever Shitara-san calls her "shokichi" and she replies instantly...

I knew the second he nicknamed her that it would stick. She's wonderful. I feel like the nickname is official now since she responds to it and yes I also do hope she takes it as a fun nickname it was meant to be.
