To all S48 blog translators - blog translation journal?

During my time here, I've seen that there's a lot of people who devote a part of their time into translating the girls' blogs into English, some of them with amazing regularity.
I've been thinking for a while that it'd be nice if the translators grouped and released their translations on a blog, well organized and with tags.
I was thinking about setting up a livejournal community with posting rights limited only to the translators; each person would claim one or more girls (from AKB, SDN, SKE, NMB alike) and publish their translations over there.
What do you think about it? I'd be really happy if this project could come true. ♥

A lot of translators have joined, so I've added a list sorted by translator and by girl below.
Of course there's no need to do a backup of all the entries each translator has already posted here if they don't feel like it. It'd be enough to consistently post on the community from now on.

We will set a standard "frame" for title, date, link to the original entry and tags, but then each translator will be free to format the entry translation at his/her leisure (with or without image emoticons, with images or image thumbnails or links only, with in text notes or foot notes, etc etc). Also, since each translator will be able to post their entries directly whenever they want, there's no fixed schedule nor a moderation queue.

I'm not a blog translator, but that sounds like an awesome idea. *O* I was literally just thinking of something like that, actually. xD

The "lower ones in japanese knowledge and that will have unfortunately to use google translator and similars and that probably will give messy entries but those entries would be from girl's blogs that probably none would ever read and not to mention translate"....

I don't know :/ I understand how you feel about wanting to share entries by less popular girls, but think about it... Messy entries made with google translate will not express what those girls want to say. So maybe people would not like them due to something they haven't actually said, or like them for something they haven't actually said, too... (And, in the best case, will be hard to read...) T_T

So, I'm not that useless... just not by far a skilled one with the very little knowledge I have, but not that useless...

 

I'd love to help out by doing Natsuki's blog, depending on how they're posted. I translate every entry already, with 366 done since May 2010, so the only issue would be moving it onto whatever it's collected onto. Then again, I don't think my translations are quite up to par with the stuff I've seen on the forum and done by other users.

 

If my translations are okay I usually do Yamamoto Sayaka, Yoshida Akari and Watanabe Miyuki (still catching up on hers).

I usually read your translations on your Nacchi blog and I think they're really good.
(Moreover, you could just keep the backlog there and start posting translations on the community after it opens.)

I only have time to handle Sasshi's blog right now, but I'll probably start translating Tanamin's once I don't have as much schoolwork to do. :3 (And definitely Yui's if she ever gets a blog. 8D)

This is a great idea unfortunately, the only name that comes to my mind is blog48 xD

 

I'm absolutely terrible with names, but would you prefer it to have a universal48 name or could it just be AKB, since they're considered the AKB family anyways.

If you don't mind basing off AKB, then we can make a stupid play on AKBINGO and just call it AKBlog
