I had never heard her sing solo so when I heard the preview for Sa Yo Na Ra I was very impressed, and noticed that she even sounds kind of similar to keiko.

The globe cover album is an amazing exposure, especially considering all the artists involved in the proyect! I'm a globe fan since before I ever liked 48groups, waiting for my album.

Her voice is lovely, so it's wonderful she was chosen for this. And as I said, this can be an interesting way to make people more interested in her

 

You can hear her solo in akbingo when she competes in a best singer competition and was the runner up. She did a really good job.

 

I think what helps is that the song is within the sweet spot of her vocal range... Her technique ain't super perfect, the first 2 lines show that, but her overall command of the song is beyond reproach. Delighted for her.

I think one of the songs in that sing off in akbingo that she sang was hitomi's love2000. Guess who is also in this tribute album?

You guys remember that audience comment when Ume starred in the Wiz... That she had changed the way they thought about AKB (in terms of singing ability). It's been a brilliant year to 18 months for her, capped by another dancing star turn in Must be Now.

An artist at the peak of her powers!

Not really a surprise, But at her Seitansai yesterday, Umechan said while she will not graduate shortly, but that she thinks it is very likely her last Seitansai.

 

Saw that... and i think all 3 remaining Ori K have said something about this year effectively being their last in group

 

Then she doesn't need to participate this year's SSK. Ori Team K is falling down, and eventually all of the first 3 gens will disappear.
