Yabuki Nako (Nako) / 3rd Generation

Nako has been promoted to Team, was selected into Senbatsu fast compared to other members from HKT 3rd gen
and she became a center in B-side song within one or two month after she debuted.
With these facts, you may say that she's the first from 3rd gen that management decide to push.

Although became a chosen girl sometimes can cause uproar or discontent from other member's fans, it may not true in this case.

Normally, when a new member debuts with a group, it will take time to acquire fans.
But in Nako's case, she got a push too fast that she didn't much time to win people's hearts and made them cheer or support her.
So, at the time she was selected into Senbatsu, she didn't have many fans compare to other Senbatsu members.

Just want to say Nako is KILLIN' IT in the IZ*ONE's debut single! Her dance routine towards the end of the song shows how much she has grown from the baby-faced cute face of HKT48! Absolutely adore her and I wish her (and the group) the best!

 

HKT's website doesn't list her as a Team H member anymore, but as "IZ*ONE専任活動中" (google translate: Full-time Izone member)

I was worried she'll have a hard time standing out in the more mature Kpop concepts, but she shined so bright in their performance. I was so happy to see her get the start of the dance break at the end.

 

In that focus fan-cam you can definitely see that she CAN dance. Her moves are SO clean the difference between this and her HKT oeuvre is like day and night! It's almost as if she's a different person altogether from the NakoMiku duo I have come to know!

WTF I just read on the wiki that she's 17. 17! I always think of Nako as a young girl which she is, sure but I was expecting she was still 14 and the youngest member on Izone but she's not . Where did time go?
