some thoughts i've read before its almost same like how the author wrote.

seems she's a little bit unexperience for theatre shows , and her singing part was little bit bad (actually , i think its worse honestly) and there's also some disagree comments from the sailor moon manga fans , that usagi zukki had portrayed was kinda like the anime version ( which always been the things that manga fans disliked )

my opinion was ,

- i'm not surprised if she's still hadnt show a perfect perfomances , since she's very new for this , but accepting to take lead role from legendary manga theater adaptation , sure she got a guts and fans should be proud of.
- singing part , i know she wasn't well known as a good singer at first , also theatrical song was kinda different from ordinary songs ? even it worst for the early performance , i think she can improve it later
- manga fans disliked the anime ver/theater ver , name more iconic duo

 

Yamashita Mizuki will be the cover girl of Japanese manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Champion" (2018 No. 34), this issue will come with her poster and postcard, the magazine will be released on 19 July 2018.

 

So, seriously, when we weren't looking, Yamashita became a real beauty. Or perhaps we were looking and she's just straight beautiful. IMO, her Synchronicity profile photo is the prettiest of all the members beating out Nanase and Maiyan.

Anyway she appeared with Kazumin Shitara's show and held her own. She's really grown as an idol.

 

She IS beautiful, whether we are looking on her or not . However I'm still curious with how Tamami's said that she looks different on and off camera.

Shitara even praised her when she managed to speak with her own language when promoting the FNS.

 

I think she would look like how she did during her SHOWROOM auditions back in the summer of 2016. Although, even then she was the stand out of the bunch...

About the FNS, I'm not exactly sure, but were they saying that they're going to appear in FNS?

Yes, they will appear in FNS today 7/25.

Nogizaka will perform 'SnowWhite Princess'? dont know what it is, but mizuki and kazumin talk about this on Nonstop and Shitara said that Mizuki need to wear Flamingo Costume if nogi will going to cosplay

 

Thanks. And about the "SnowWhite", I think they'll perform songs from Disney's Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs. Of course the Japanese version of it.

Her aura is SO powerful

 

Hope her acting is better than her singing.

 

You know what's different? They did not put Nogizaka46 tag next to her name on the trailer credits.

 

The way it should be imo. I never understood why most of the time members are labeled as Nogizaka46 members when the job has nothing to do with the group, so it's refreshing to see it omitted.

 

Sometimes they want to ride the coattails of Nogizaka46. Other times, it may be a rider in the contract that specifies them to do advertising like that, so that Nogizaka gets some exposure. Something like a movie which doesn't seem as planned by management doesn't need to do the advertising on behalf of Nogizaka.

Thinking about this situation then, did Yamashita win the role because of her acting ability over her being from Nogizaka46?

My glib comment a few posts above not withstanding, Yamashita seems to have a better reputation as an actress than as a singer. She did really well in 3rd Gen Principle where she got to play each part. Not too sure about what the reviews at the time said, but I think they did praise her for acting.

If she is able to win more roles in future films, then it would benefit Nogizaka46 and their future is secure.

BTW, Yamashita is my 3rd Gen oshimen and I've been a fan since her first SHOWROOM audition.
