Baito AKB (バイトAKB) is a group of AKB48 members who have a part-time status within the group, having a temporary contract until February 2014, after which it can be renewed. These members participate in handshake events, stages and rehearsals part-time, being paid ¥1000 per hour.

The project is sponsored by the part-time job company "Baitoru". It is coupled with a promo campaign which includes a song and CM with all Baito AKB members alongside a main group senbatsu called Baitoru Rotation.
