NGT48 (short for Niigata48) is a Japanese Idol Group produced by Akimoto Yasushi, and the 4th sister group of AKB48. The group has their own theater in the Lovela 2 building in Niigata (Niigata Prefecture). The 1st Generation members were announced on July 25, 2015, debuting on January 10, 2016. The debut single of the group, Seishun Dokei, will be released on April 12, 2017. They are currently signed under Sony Music Entertainment Japan.
