- Due to China's law forbidding group lineups based on monetary votings, this was not advertised as a senbatsu election. Rather than voting for members online, fans could buy individual member versions of the group's 6th single, Qian Qiu Ling.
- This was technically against the law, and WeChat has once removed the link to AKB48 Team SH's official website from their official WeChat account for breaking the rules.
- To resolve the situation, the image of the 'product' was replaced with a regular EP jacket cover, rather than individual members' jackets.
