25 - NGT48 is officially announced during the final day of the AKB48 Request Hour Setlist Best 1035 2015

March

26 - AKB48 Spring Shuffle 2015
- AKB48's Kitahara Rie is transferred and appointed as the captain of the group
- AKB48's Kashiwagi Yuki to have a Kennin Position in NGT48

April

10 - NGT48 auditions start. They last until May 18, 2015.
- Girls between ages 11 and 23 were eligible to apply and the audition had a total of 5,850 applicants
- From 5850 girls, 74 finalists were selected

May

10 - AKB48 Group Draft Kaigi 2015: Ogino Yuka and Nishigata Marina join the group
- NGT48's participation on the Draft was announced on May 3, 2015
- The representing members were Captain Kitahara Rie, Kennin Member Kashiwagi Yuki and Theatre Manager Imamura Etsuro

25 - The 22 winners of the NGT48 auditions are announced, forming 1st Generation

October

1 - First theater performance (Scheduled)
