Shimizu Sara is a member of STU48 Kenkyuusei and mini STUDIO.

On January 29th, was part of her first song "Bokura no Shunkashuutou" on STU48's fourth single Mubou na Yume wa Sameru Koto ga Nai.
On September 2nd, was part of her first senbatsu for STU48's fifth single Omoidaseru Koi wo Shiyou.
On November 19th, it was announced she would go on a hiatus due to health reasons.
