- A year before she joined HKT48, she was one of the 6 finalists in a talent reality show called "The Last Herione", remaining from the 15.000 people that had signed up. The show was consisted of dancing, singing and acting and ran for 24 episodes on Tokai TV, produced by SME and Yoshimoto Kyoraku. Aki did not end up winning, but did have multiple photoshoots, a small play and a fashion show in the wake of the competition.
