Hmm it kinda seems unfair that certain members seem to be pushed just because of where they're from. I mean, it's still a business so I get it, but I hope all members will have chances in the future regardless of where they come from.

And only 3 got selected. They kiddo members are not picked probably due to age? But picking Yano Honoka > Ishida Chiho may be kind of scratch to the head if we are talking about popularity (based on SR).

The others who are selected this time maybe due to the fact they have relation from Hiroshima audition like you said senpai or because of some other criteria we don't know about. (Same goes with the dropped members)

And again, we will find out if this origin of (prefecture/ auditioning prefecture) will play a great part in selecting senbatsu's.

The next big events scheduled is Tv-Tokyo's Music Festival (6/28) > Hiroshima Runway (7/1) > NHK's Inochi no Uta (7/20) > Tokyo Idol Festival (8/5) > Okayama's Music Tribe (8/26)

Some interesting news here about Setouchi DMO

 

TIF is probably the most important one, even though they are not solo. I'm guessing they are going to place the girls that are most likely to become Team SIII members there (even though the team itself might be created near end of year, once the theater is done, not much sense in making a team when they cannot perform at a theater still).

Hey not trying to dash hopes or anything but I really don't think they'll announce anything at TIF. Being included is huge (especially for a group who technically hasn't debuted as far as single releases go) but a festival format doesn't really lend itself well to announcements. The sets are shorter (sometimes as short as about fifteen minutes long, so maybe three songs and an MC) and it feels a bit rude to the other groups performing? The last one is more speculation than anything honestly. I do hope they make announcements of some kind soon though!

 

^ Not saying they are going to announce anything, but that the line up for TIF would be their best possible one, probably the one they have in mind for Team SIII.

 

^They could just send entire line-up, if no schedule conflict occurred and they got the main, bigger stage to perform.

Yeah, probably no announcement but it will be a nice surprise tho if they do.

The closest one that is coming up is on the 29th, a day after the TV Tokyo Music Festival
