I'm definitely going to keep an eye out on the convention scene here. If my work schedule allows, I'm going to make sure to take a trip to see them.
I think it's cost effective for them to still do that in the US. They are doing one in Italy and one in Spain in 2 weeks.
This was posted in the BAND-MAID Worldwide fans fb page and although I have seen it before, I thought I would post it here! Part 1: if the video does not show watch the video here Part 2: if the video does not show watch the video here
These is also this video of a Live Acoustic set from a couple of years ago. if the video does not show watch the video here
Thanks for both sets of videos! The one from Gold Rush was really interesting since I really never really knew what their personalities were like, just a vague idea from their Twitter profiles. I liked Kanami and MISA before, but now after seeing this video, I like them so much more. It's hard to not like all of them after seeing that video.
I saw this in the BAND-MAID FB page! This is amazing news and a full album as well! YOLO is also on the album which is great as well. Can anyone see another world tour coming?
Seeing them again would be amazing, I was just looking at flights from Dublin to Pisa to see them next weekend at the Lucca Convention but it too expensive. For Barcelona, Nov 1st is not "férié" in Ireland so can't see that happening either. Ah well, I've seen them twice on this tour so I'm happy, depressed but happy and I have the Japanese Punk Rock girls of Mutant Monster next month..
Great news! For some reason, I think the title of the album seems appropriate for their first major album. EDIT: And preorders are open! https://twitter.com/CDJapan/status/791126022376783872 I didn't hesitate one bit.
Band Maid just held their biggest ever concert today at Akasaka Blitz in Tokyo. They released a new video ahead of the new album launch and announced a 6 date Japan Tour. if the video does not show watch the video here
I caught the video this morning off of a FaceBook post, and I just got an e-mail from CDJapan saying that my copy is on its way. I cannot wait!
Just bought the new album, I bought the limited edition although I didn't have the money for it, but had to be done.
I'm really happy seeing the pictures of the mini BAND-MAID areas of various Tower Records that have been posted on their social media. Saiki riding down the escalator of the Tower in Shinjuku while signing the posters has been one of my recent favorite videos. I only did a quick search, but how much does it cost to get videos and banners set up at Shibuya Crossing? I imagine it must be a decent amount with how much traffic flows in that area day in and day out. I've also been considering flying out to catch one of their shows in June, but I'm not sure how easy it's going to be to get tickets to their gigs.
A few people in our FB group are trying to get tickets for the June concerts, one was at Akasaka Blitz. Looks like for most Japanese concerts, it will start with lotteries. Not sure about GA, if there will be one and/or when.
I really love the new album and I really care for each song. My current favourite song has to be Secret My Lips although it was CROSS about 3 days ago.
I wouldn't have seen the news if a friend of mine didn't post it, but it looks like they'll be playing at the J-Pop Summit in San Francisco this September. Time for me to start planning.
Yes confirmed on september 9th and 10th in San Francisco. High hopes this could be the launch of a wider tour of North America, Europe and why not Australia
Anyone here actually going to J-Pop Summit to see Band-Maid (or any of the other guests, for that matter)?
