I'm honestly surprised only 3 of my choices came up so far.
Still, I'm happy to see other people voted for Marino since she's not exactly mngmnt favorite. She's one of the only two idols I talked to and has been such an amazing experience I can't wait to repeat in person in the future.
Seki is this calm presence in Sakura and yet she could buy Tokyo Dome on the spot probably, while Mikuni is quite the opposite but so funny. All of them are Sakamichi new generation and I can't wait so see them grow.

I chose to not downvote anyone. It's not my thing, it was already hard enough leave some idols ouside my chosen 20 lol

Similarly to my #2 she appeared very boring at first but it's just her (acknowledged!) reserved appearance, the truth is she's extremely friendly! She was like the only member who was super welcoming to 7th gen and dedicated a whole blog to them right after their unveiling! In the end the biggest dealbreaker for me was that she did her best to make that terrible 2020 so much fun and was the living example of the cliched "idols are here to relieve you from the irl stuff" or whatever through challenging herself and exuding constant positivity in all the different SNS! On the way she made so many "image changes" and all of them were really cool! She gained a lot of popularity in 2020 and I hope she's gonna have more chances to showcase her excellent performance skills! Thank you Marin!

(290) [2|0] [NMB] Hara Karen {+12,0}, 12 - I guess she was the main reason I became interested in NMB again, she's an interesting character for sure, you either love her or hate her lol, but deep down she's a super nice girl. Her ability and willingness to make a complete fool of herself and come out with the most awkward jokes is truly impressive; otoh she feels very delicate and desperate to succeed which can be a bit double-edged. Her 2021 started pretty well so hopefully she's gonna pick up more confidence!

I can just repeat what I said last year (when I took 2020 already into consideration anyway lul), she's just kinda funny and all the trolling we do here has been fun as well; though I somehow feel that the more I became interested in the group the less I cared about her specifically (though to be fair I think she was also busy with school and stuff in the second half of the year)... Needs more fashion stuff! (Holy shit this video is insane!)

Nijika never got the love she so deserved. She was the most interesting of them all right from the start crying over sensei's interpretation of the blank cake she draw. Sadly, she exited on a scandal, a rather dumb way to do it. But that's Nijika for you. I wonder if Tsuchida is still welcome at her parent's house? Funny that. Would love to know about her other positive voter's thoughts though...

My 4th Gen oshimen! So nervous at the start of her idol career, but gaining confidence. Best Nogi blogger since Saito Chiharu.

Nogi fandom has slept on Reno-chan for a long time so expect them to be amazed as grows into a great idol. Me? I'm driving her bandwagon. Get on board!

She does better and better as idol every year, and she's doing great in IxR as their leader, I already noticed before that she is good with speaking so it's suitable for her to be leader! and I also find her cute and pretty, I hope she gets more push in AKB with time! I ranked Miyuna #17 in my list and gave her 2 points! I like her since I saw her in the singing competition 2-3 years ago, she is really cute, and interesting! She's also a good singer and good dancer, she's a very good performer. I want to see more from her and learn more about her, I'm planning to watch more STU content, I hope next year I can know her even more!

Thoughts On The Rest Of The Results Today: Abelaine Trinidad from unranked to 145, wow! Motomura Aoi staying in the same place makes me simultaneously happy and sad. Yamane Suzuha dropping makes me sad. Yamauchi Suzuran's rank improved which makes me smile. IMHO she's one of those hard-worker types whom's hard work has simply never been properly rewarded. I was expecting to see Oba Mina tomorrow not today. What did Mogi Shinobu do to earn a negative point? Also surprised to see her rank dropped. Chiba Erii and Hattori Yuna's ranks improving make me happy even though I don't actively follow either of them.

Fuu is one of the most amazing idols I've ever met, and I'm still quite sad about her pending graduation; there's still a couple months of fun left though. Multiple times in the #2 spot, I think she could have been STU center eventually.
Hamachan cast some spell on me during AKBingo and it's still there Her energy and smile is infectious – must be something about the power of Lake Biwa...
Tada's Showrooms are just really enjoyable. Especially through 2020 when I had more time to watch and she was getting up at 5am to stream it was a fun thing to look forward to every day.
Miria has been one of my favorites in Nogi from the start, and her brief appearance in senbatsu didn't change anything. Her energy in the Under Live was really great.
Paruyo! I love the Hinata 3rd gen, and I think she has great variety potential as a foil to the antics of the others. Excited to see if she keeps the side-pony or if Ayaka can finally make her over for good
