You got to show the back covers of the booklet. I saw some unboxing videos on YT and the members hiding is so cute. I wish they used those as the covers.

Oricon 1st day sales: 419,000

 

^Ouch! Compared to last single that’s a 70k drop. I was too optimistic

 

Oh wow didn't thought they would drop in sales! Single all in all is good

 

I think its time to acknowledge that there's a strong grad single effect on sales. Every grad single has a large increased 1st week sales from last single and often been followed by a drop

Harujion +123k on last single / -21k to next single
Sayonara +99k / +47k (Influencer)
Kaerimichi +74k / -58k
Shiawase +31k / -406k *Pandemic*
Koko ni +77k / ???

 

I expected the drop since the previous single was Asuka grad single. And Asuka is the last of Nogi original ace (along with Maiyan, Nanase and Ikuchan). And considering how slow the main song reach 1M views on youtube, it seems not so well received by public.
Comparing with the recent release, this result is still better than KimiShika, and definitely much better than Actually.
Heard they will restart actual handshake for National HS, that might boost the sales in the coming weeks.

 

Yeah they weren't beating Asuka's grad single. I actually think its a good number. The song while good it's nothing special. There is still potential there for great sales if they ever accidentally release a S tier song again.

Seems like I wasn't pessimistic enough! 419k seems about average to what they were doing in the post-Maiyan era, right?
