Who do people think has the biggest chance to come out of nowhere to place high this year? I was just rewatching the preliminary rankings announcement from last year when Ogino Yuka came first, the genuine shock on the gathered AKB members faces is still hilarious!

 

Dream :

But that will have happen haha.

It's more likely that everyone will move +- 2 spots compared to last year. Kinda wish NGT girl will be #1 tho. lol.

2. Miyawaki Sakura (might be a close gap like 3-4 k votes with J)
3. Okada Nana (please, AKB need a rep in top 3)
4. Ogino Yuka (honestly, i'm not quite sure about her)
5. Muto Tomu (it's my hope, but she has a loyal fanbase, so it's not impossible)
6. Suda Akari
7. Yokoyama Yui (as much as i wish she increase her rank, i feel like she'll be stagnant)
8. Souda Sarina (gain votes, but not increase in rank)
9. Takahashi Juri
10. Shiroma Miru
11. Yoshida Akari (her youtube channel is growing, so why not another jump this year)
12. Furuhata Nao (why not?)
13. Mukaichi Mion (her fans need to redeem for her drop last year!)
14. Homma Hinata
15. Kojima Mako (mako need to enter senbatsu this year)
16. Nakai Rika (NGT fans, surprise me again this year pls)

Your faith in Katomina gives me so much hope I was more expecting her to get to the 60s, maybe 50s if she's getting really lucky this year but hearing you two suggest her position in Undergirls makes me really hopeful. I was so worried at first 'cause she didn't sign up for SSK until the last day.

Although this would be a really great rank in comparison to last year, I really really do wish for her to rank higher than that. Her goal is senbatsu and I wish for that to come true (although I know it would be extremely difficult). We'll have yet to see how strong her fanbase really is...

 

I don’t know. If “I will graduate if I don’t rank” can only get her to UG, then...Senbatsu seems out of reach

Just kidding. In all seriousness, I hope Komi bounces back to Undergirls. Senbatsu seems a bit unreachable though since there is only a few vacant spots and there’s Kojimako, Miichan(?), Renacchi, Kaotan, and probably some other unexpected members.

 

I am very curious, why do a lot of people not like jurina?

2. Sakura (i don't think she can catch up by that much. and HKT is going to release their 11th single so)
3. Naachan (she got a lot of exposure lately. and akb needs a representation in top 3. maybe mgmt will 'tweak' a few things lol)
4. Ogiyuka (i think she will lose some votes idk)
5. Tomu (ofc she will be here. could be swapped with either ogiyuka or naachan tho)
6. Yuihan ( i think dasu will drop, while yuihan stays)
   
7. Dasu (got the feeling she will not get any higher)
8. Juri (i think and hope she will gain some more votes. heck even if her vote stays stagnant she will still increase her rank)
9. Mion (revenge much?)
10. Mirurun (obviously... could be swapped with mion tho)
11. Akarin (she is famous now... and i don't think there is any reason for her to lose votes)

13-16 can be swapped imo

Tbh idk whether Ogiyuka and Hinata will gain/stay/lose votes. It's too blurry.
I think Nao and Churi will lose votes amd go straight to UG, while Nakai gain some more vote and ranks in lower Senbatsu, instead of Nao.
