I'm actually surprised that none of my girls has show up yet. Starting from 2017 Ranking, I always have at least one girl in my ranking show up on 1st day. Maybe some of them will be revealed in tomorrow :^^;:.
For people who don't follow MNL48, both of 2 MNL girls in my quotes had serious scandals though. Orn, Fukuda Akari and Fukushi Nao are my favorites in their respectively group, but not enough for me to vote though. This is what happened when you can only vote for 20 girls :^^;:. But I though Suzuki Yuka would ranked higher, what happened?

Keep in mind this year's bottom tier has about half as many girls as last year's. I wanted to preserve the pacing of the upper ranks so the rest are the same size (before accounting for ties) and the bottom tier is only 47 girls compared to last year's 90.

I didn't expect that Sasaki Yukari would be in the negative, then again only one person upvoted her... if I knew this, I would probably include her in my top 20 to help a little. I find her nice, and I had free spots in the last ranks of my top 20 that I end up giving to other girls, I didn't think of Yukarun. I wonder if anything happened last year to make her get negatives? I actually don't follow her closely and I don't really know how she's been doing in recent years...

I thought Suzuki Yuka of Team 8 would rank higher than this

I awarded -5 to Tano and -4 to Gatanee for their collective work in dragging NGT48's reputation through the mud. I gave -3 to Noepi for her duct tape video and -1 to Rikahime for continuing to be a generally annoying person. I gave my ex-kami oshi Ogiyuka zero points but if she continues to troll Maho in her Instagram then I'll be giving her negative marks next year.

But to end on a more positive note, I hope Okarina can earn a much higher ranking next year. I only discovered her a few months ago and she's definitely growing on me. I didn't give her any votes this time but my expectation is that next year I will. I'm holding a HS ticket for her for 4/29 but obviously I won't be using it (unless there are any major miracles), however I'll continue to follow her very closely in the future.

Only two so far, both in NGT (shocking, I know).
    07. Ogino Yuka (+5)
    20. Kawagoe Saaya (+1)
I wasn't even aware of Saaya at the time of last year's ranking, only became aware after they started featuring the second gen more following the incident. I still need to learn more about her before she earns a permanent place on my favorites list, however.

As for Ogino, I struggled for a while against dropping her 2 places, but there were other girls who just interested me more over the last year~ (in part because she wasn't able to do much). I do still support her, and marvel at her resilience despite all the undeserved hate. Also love seeing her play with her new puppy on Instagram more than I expected I would.

Too bad, together we might have gotten her to 0 [hehe]

    02. Nishigata Marina (-4)
    03. Ogino Yuka (-3)
    04. Kato Minami (-2)
    05.

No surprise that NGT occupied all the bottom slots.

As for Okada Rina, not only does she have the attributes already listed by other posters but she's a good dancer too. I guess her tsukkomi nature in MCs might be misinterpreted by people, I hope she gets more positive recognition this year.

A cute and energetic girl, I knew her from NMB's SR event and watched her SR several times since then, it was so enjoyable, so that's it.

First three to appear from my votes. And............. Sole voter for all three. Shame on ya'll. I can kinda understand Harimachan and Wakanya lack of votes. The former is a graduated KKS who was not popular to start with. And the latter is a new kid down in Hakata who has yet to debut as under in any Team stages, a year into the group.

But I know for a fact several folks on this forum has been to Oimochan's HS. And the reports coming from her lanes generally great.:gavel:

Anywho, it's too late for Harimachan.:cry::cry: But there are great girls down south, Oimochan and Wakanya being two of them. I would implore you all to follow up on them, but I fear I would just be wasting my breath....

None of mine in Day 2. Nice to see people thinking of Morishita Maiha, Kawakami Chihiro, and Ota Nao though :)
