(last year link) Usually half of the girls will be at the studio and half will be online. The show was every Saturday after midnight, and poor Sorara and Yukinee sometimes had trouble staying up when they had theater/handshake/concert/other jobs during the day, and often they have job/theater/handshake on the following Sunday too. Even if they have never said so, for fans it did seem quite taxing on their rest time. I remember Sorara had to rest during the 17ken camp activity because she had to stay up and went to the studio for radio recording the night in-between the camp days. (Yukinee IIRC was scheduled to do it via online) Regardless, while I haven't been able to follow all the episodes, it seems pretty interesting at times. Hopefully it's worthwhile experience and networking chance for both of them! The radio show itself will continue on next week, with new batch of girls as the 16th generation (#ゴチャ16). There is a chance AKB will keep some spots, but we will have to wait until April 21 to see if Sorara and Yukinee rejoin the cast. ================================= Seems like Sorara is well enough again to perform! Apparently, according to their observation, fans who applied for 2-Session-Pass were the ones who made it the most. The capacity of the venue is indeed a bit smaller than the 3rd Fanmeeting's (500 vs 630). ========================= 17kenkyuujo #65 - Eriko, Mayuu and Chiyori as Guest If you miss Chiyori, this is the episode you need to watch! Why is Chiyori here? Supposedly because Eriko jokingly said Chiyori as a senpai to be invited and staff unexpectedly gave it an OK. Chiyori is imparting her wisdom of being entertaining in Variety setting to the two of them. Masaru happily receives and instantly tries to practice them, while Eriko is more reserved and seems to still want to keep her traditional idol image instead. One question they asked is how to interact properly with Senpais. Chiyori had wealth of experience, dealing with Team A with Takamina, Kojiharu, and Paruru. One of Chiyori's advice, if you have trouble interacting with senpai, make sure to practice with Orin! Chiyori's specialties, Hanger Face and Bird Face are also making comebacks! She can even do both in quick successions: She's teaching Eriko and Mayuu the techniques but those need some specially trained face muscles it seems. At the end of the episode, the best Mayuu can do is this: (Close enough!)
