Costume reminds me of Gingham Check.

Well, at least viewers were made aware that Jurina should have been there.

Assuming they had no choice but to perform today the single that will be released two months from now, then fine, at least, they gave a nod to Jurina.

 

i love jurina and im gonna lie to myself if i will said im okay, i kinda dissapointed but i understand, probably jurina will give up produce too. i feel like her condition got worst, because if not im sure she will perform on that stage.

im kinda glad they didnt have a center tbh.

I like the song. It’s a shame that Jurina does not center the performance, but the no center gesture is nice from mgmt. I hope she can come back soon.

Well, I like it more than JBJ and TT for sure. But I don't see myself listening to it for an extended period of time. It doesn't have the amount of energy I like and it's somewhat bland.
I want to give it the benefit of the doubt and see the mv with it. Otherwise it won't stick around for me.
I can totally see me liking at least 2 B-sides more than the Sentimental Train. Though I like the title and the outfits, and I dare say this song represents Jurina more than the aforementioned songs did for their centers. But I won't know for sure unless I read the lyrics.

 

I like the song, although we used to get somewhat cheery music for ssk single, this time it feels more gloomy.

Is it just me...or for one or two seconds there I feel like I'm listening to exactly the same tone as Sayonara no Imi?

 

I agree on it sounding like a Nogi song...It’s good though, not something I would expect with a Jurina center, but still nice.

hope for Jurina to come back as soon as possible T_T

 

One cute detail I noted, during the starting formations theres a part where all the girls put their arm on the shoulder of the girls in front. Dasu and Sakura were hoverhanding the missing shoulders of Jurina.

Trophy-chan aside. W-center (Akarin and Sakura) looks good in my books

 

SSK singles have been going down the melancholic road for a while now. I think #Sukinanda has that natsukashii vibe too, and while Love Trip is not exactly gloomy it is not cheery either.

I like the song, though a bit monotone from start to end. Need some more roller coaster like TT from the first listening I will give 7.5. Will probably rise after they release the MV and have full team.

Feels like listening to a nogi song. But the center is the girl crush SSK trophy, so no complain about that maybe this kind of song is currently more popular in Japan? Kind of miss the quircky touch of AKB to be honest.

5 points from the first viewing:
- SSK trophy center
- Ogiyuka look amazing there
- Black hair Naachan
- Obamina in AKB senbatsu her height and position make it as if she is the hidden center whenever they shot at the trophy-chan.
- Glad they didn't replace the center. Otherwise that girl will get tons of unnecessary hate.

I'd say, good job AKS. Now do not flop with the MV.

 

Most 48G songs don't really grab me on the first listen but they nearly always grow on me in time. First impression is that it's a nice song.

They know how to tug at the heartstrings, don't they? I was trying not to laugh at the dramatic panning to the trophy and then felt a little sad when they showed the slow motion clip of a happy, energetic Jurina. What with the empty podium Haruppi thing a while back and now this, they have a weird way of making it look like missing members have passed :/ (just to be clear, I don't think that's what has happened at all and I don't think it's their intention, that's just what it reminds of)

 

Quick review:
The song and choreo looks like 11-gatsu no anklet (which is sayonara no imi 2.0), which is weird song choice for girl crush charismatic performer like Jurina. But considering Jurina's current health (SKE staff even announced that she will take more time to resting), so I think it's good choice.
At least they decided to replace Jurina with the trophy, not with Dasu, Sakura, even Sasshi
