I think Jurina will appear for the performance, surprising everyone. We have 6 hours until it happens, so..... it's not impossible!

 

I really truly do hope it will be Dasu if Jurina does not show up.

#Sukinanda, for a reason I don't know or has forgotten, as mentioned recently, wasn't first performed in July but in August instead. This new song, with a much later released date, can surely be promoted at a much later date if Jurina is not yet available.

Management does have an option.

I have wrote this in Jurina's thread before but I'll repeat it here. Jurina's HS for tomorrow still hasn't been cancelled. Yokomichi Yuri's, who is also taking a break, was announced as cancelled a few days ago already, so I think they'd announce it for Jurina's too if it was a sure thing. This tells me that there's at least a chance Jurina is coming back this weekend. I think they might want her to take it easy for now so they'll probably limit her schedules to bare minimum - that's why she'll probably only appear for the SSK song but not the others. This would also get more attention for SSK song - like "SSK queen is back after 3 weeks especially for this performance". So I have high hopes for Jurina to appear for that one song in the evening

EDIT: They just announced Haruppi and Rara's HS event absence today too, as expected. No official announcement about Jurina yet so there's still hope. I think the lane info will be out soon so we'll see if she's there or not.

 

It's more than likely dictated by music show guest schedules. AKB aren't the only ones who want to promote songs, nor do they get absolute top shelf billing in entertainment anymore.

In the Japanese music industry, which is overly saturated to a ridiculous degree and where negative rumors can start if scheduling is missed or turned down for any reason, it's stay in the public eye or die, regardless of who is in the lineup when the show starts filming. I understand the bitter feelings of Jurina oshis if she isn't there for the first performance, but scheduling the entire promotion of a CD release that is likely to sell 1m+ copies with or without Jurina's appearance on television solely around her is not feasible imo.

But as @Riina says, it's likely Jurina will be there even if she's taking a break from almost everything else.

Well, too early to worry now? I think it's quite safe to say that the Flying Get senbatsu just now won't be the same people performing the SSK single later, if you just look at who were in FG? The FG senbatsu has 16 people. Of the 12 I can identify, there are already 5 who are not in the SSK senbatsu: Yuiyui, Sasshi, Yukirin, Sayanee and Mirurun. I seem to have glimpsed Rikahime in the 4 I couldn't see clearly too. So it's not just Jurina but also a bunch of other SSK senbatsu members who are not there.

She's gonna be seemingly absent for the song but as its about to start (or as it just starts) the lights will suddenly go out. everyone appears shocked.
Dry ice clouds flood the studio and then J's theme song starts playing as she enters with a champion belt around her waist

reality is unfortunately going to be much duller this evening.
