The way I find videos usually (I can't access torrents currently either) is to search youtube the day it airs, and the day after, shows usually get put up there, but taken down really quickly. There are a few people who upload to livemotion, so check there too. Or failing that Youku.

Always search using the actual Japanese name, or search AKB48 and change to recently uploaded, sometimes they won't name the show accurately to avoid being taken down. (Doesn't work)

^^ Ah all right, thank you!

I'm not too sure how Youku works as I can't read Chinese though xD.

as ginger said just search with actual Japanese name + air date or ep number
however you will need to get used to ignoring the subs

or http://acfunwiki.org/index.php/%E5%BE%AE%E5%A6%99 (some eps are split up so navigate with the dropdown box, pin to enable/disable the onscreen comments

    Hi all,

Does anyone have any .srt file for 110428 shukan AKB ?

(helping another member seeking the .srt file)

According to the member here, the link here viewtopic.php?f=17&t=4938&hilit=shukan+akb+110408 didn't work.

Does anyone knows where else in this forum or elsewhere that he/she can download?

    Thanks in advance.

    Okay, that clears that up.

Another one. This just pops up in my channel, what's this?

    [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLFlG3S72nc[/yt]

Its Sashi and Kitarie in silent movies.

I don't follow that much on TV so I'm hell ignorant about this, if its really on TV.

Not too sure what the tv show is, but I like the "feeling like a star" one where KitaRie pulls out her hand and starts shaking Sashii's hand. [hehe]

    Questions regarding Agency:

Is getting an agency considered a "promotion"? And also, who makes the first move? As in, does the agency come to AKS/Aki-P and "I want OO"? Or does Aki-P decide which girl go to which agency? Do the girls have any say in which agency she goes to?

Please help me :) I'm quite confused.

Yes, getting a proper management agency is a big deal. In Japan, a celebrity (singer, actor, etc, usually just called "talents") belongs to a management agency, who then set out to get jobs for the talent. The bigger and more powerful the agency, the better the jobs you can get. So an actress with a good agency will be able to get better acting jobs than one with a low-level agency.

The girls don't actually work for a company called AKB48, they work for a management agency who then essentially hires them out to be a part of the group AKB48 (and work under Aki-P). But outside of that relationship there's all sorts of things like modelling, acting, advertisement/promotional jobs etc that the management agency gets for the girls.

Aki-P wouldn't officially be related, but he is a huge name in the entertainment industry in Japan, and since the whole industry is essentially who you know and "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours", I imagine there's plenty of gentleman's agreements, backroom deals, and other not-for-public-knowledge dealings going on [hehe]

If you want to know more about how the industry works you can read a thread we've talked about it in before, though I should warn you that it might take away some of the magic and glossy paint that covers the idea of the entertainment industry. It's all about money at the end of the day, after all...
