I really had no expectations for this drama but that first episode seems to fast paced, maybe it's due to the fact that I don't understand Japanese. The only scene I liked was the beginning with Nishino Nanase, the rest seems to iffy for me. Hopefully subs will come out so I can get a better understanding of how they became hostesses

 

It hurts to see Kamisori without Zombie.. Ouch

Ahh, I was wondering why Riripon had Rookie as her nickname

Just random thoughts

Spoiler: Episode 1

• Nanase's cameo appearance confirms (at least to me) that there's Nogizaka Girl High School (乃木坂女子高校) in MG Universe besides Gekioko and Yabakune. The uniform she wears is similar to Miona's cameo on episode 10 of MG5, only it's shorter.
• Kamisori without Zombie and Team Hinabe without Dodobutsu just doesn't feel right to me. I know they can make any reasons as to why they aren't included in this season, but for me, Dodobutsu will be a good hostess with her mature looks.
• I'm happy that they bring the humorous atmosphere of the previous MG series, because for me, MG5 was too serious and there was a few funny scenes. Love Jisedai's expression when her name comes out.
• What happens with Center investigating Salt's death?

Spoiler: Episode 2

• Still, Otabe is my favourite. She refuses to throw her pride and moral when Center said that it's a way to win on this world of lies. Nice job, Otabe.
• Yes, they 'play' hostess game right now, but they're still yankee. You know what I mean.
• Seems like Center has many stories in the past between MG2 and MG4 that we don't know, like how she knows about Salt when she was a nurse and how Antonio said "aikawarazu" to her and she replied "natsukashii". Really, her name fits her so much, she is the center of the game.
• Wait, what? Antonio is picking a fight with Majijo eventhough she owe Salt her life after being rescued from Yakuza? Wtf??!! Where's the Antonio who won't let Yabakune touch Majijo even just a single step on previous season?
• Also, that police scene, I hope there's a twist in this season.
• That isn't Nezumi, right? Please tell me she isn't Nezumi...

Center investigating Salt's death? Antonio and Salt?

You don't see Yoga there, do you? All of a sudden, Katabutsu is in Rappapa, right? They're not worried with the character Salt, aren't they? That Yakuza dude is still alive, doesn't have a scar and doesn't seem to know who they are, does he?

What does that tell us?

Yep, it's Nezumi!

 

well Center already killed the MG principle at the end of season 5.........it was strange to see him alive in the first episode.
Antonio was dead in episode 5 (MG5) .........so i assumed this new season timeline is somewhere between MG4 and MG5

 

It feels disconnected now.
I'll actually be more interested if they could do a Nogizaka taking over Majisuka special edition, changing the entire environment into a better place to study.
Naachan only appeared for a brief moment, but so badass on so many levels.

 

Which would make the presence of Katabutsu in Rappapa and the absence of Yoga even weirder. No, it's just... God, I hate to say it... another universe. Since this is a Japanese series, see it like those anime seasons that don't fit with the rest of the story but we watch it anyway.

By the way, is that Kira next to Hinana, Yuami and Aerin?

 

Haruppi's character Katsuzetsu was first introduced in ep5 of MG5 and Antonio was dead by the end of the same episode in MG5.
i dont know.....its hard to pinpoint the timeline of this new season in the existing timeline
