[EVENT] AKB48 at Anime Expo 2010, Los Angeles

Japanese Musical Group AKB48 will be Official Guests of Honor at Anime Expo 2010.

AKB48 will perform live in Nokia Theater on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at 4:30 p.m. The members will also participate in attendee panels, meet-and-greets and autograph sessions.

$400-ish for a plane and a hotel... That's a lot.

-NATSUKI MIGHT BE THERE!
-The show is ON HER BIRTHDAY.
-Team A might be busy with A6 since they started only a week or so beforehand.
-There should be some promotions going on for their PV/CD collection that comes out little while later, IF DefStar gets custody of them for a while.
-They might pull a New York and send only popular girls and less popular girls might be in charge of manning the theater.

I'm concerned.

Its an hour flight to LA for me. [rofl]

It seats about 7,000.

 

Lucky American people ! 2 times in one year. Even if NY and LA would not be in the same country at a European scale (if you consider Texas is bigger than France for example).

 

Of course. Darn it, I'm so mad. There's no way I'm going to be able to afford this...

As for who they'll send, I assume it's going to be the same senbatsu who went when I saw them in NYC. I wonder if they'll send Jurina, as well, though? And I wonder if Mariko will go this time?

 

Guests of honor, so you would assume they would send senbatsu to represent the group, or at least most of them.

There's no chance I can go, unless someone is willing to share their accomodations.

 

That's just rude. Another artist I like is coming to my country and it had to be on the wrong side.

 

At least we have confirmation several months in advance That capacity is huge though.
