And yet, your bones are telling you that Seichan can be the next center.

 

OK, my mistake about Seichan. Lol. But she is participating in most of important tours and events in last months.

 

So is Komi.

 

Oh, about Komi I've seen some storm on International Twitter that some people are supposing that she has bullied Moeka. It can be really big storm if she'll be next center.

I wonder what song AKB will sing at Kouhaku this year. If Moeka didnt graduate, I could see Sustainable was performed but .... Will mngm be generous enough to let her celebrate her only center single while shes soon out of the group and honestly, didnt contribute to the group as much as other girls like Maeda, Yuko, Mayu or Sashihara who can have ? They sang Koisuru last year so it might sound weird if they would sing it again, or any old songs cos they also sing some in 2017 and 2016

 

Will they even be invited after the whole Nishigata/Tano situation.

moeka start her first ever senbatsu from 2nd row center and got the center position when the previously center (sasshi) grad
and somehow the situation is quite similiar right now

 

Hoping for a YuuNaa center for the next single Management seems to be pushing YuuNaa lately (YuuNaa stage at AKB Haru no Fes, neighboring positions in Sustainable, duet in Yukirin produced stage - although that's technically Yukirin's decision but might have been pushed or at least approved by the management, etc.). Naachan is already AKB's ace and has experience as centering, and management knows Yuiri sells HS well too, plus there were many positive reactions when she centered Flying Get on TV (many non-AKB fans were asking who the cute girl doing the center is). So I think they are a safe choice

I would love a Naachan x Yuirii center.

And I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually their next choice.
After a disastrous 2019, the group needs to place some safe bets.

They're probably even thinking of throwing a bone to Yukirin, but she's probably graduating next year anyway, so that center can wait.

 

I think having Yuuri solo center or dual center with Naachan would be a great move. While far from being a new member, I think she still counts as a "new face" to the general public while at the same time, looking at her HS, has a strong fanbase.

 

Never been Komi's biggest fan, but there's very little to this rumour. Just some crackpots on 5ch with too much time on their hands.

Anybody here think their Kohaku appearance is in jeopardy? They've only had two singles, not many national TV appearances, Maho scandal, and with 46g, TWICE, and IZ*ONE having banner years it would be hard for the red team to have so many idol groups.

 

Great...two days ago I red in the newspaper that one of the guests performing at the Salón del Manga de Barcelona was a group called 4KB48 . At first I thought, 'ok, it must be a tribute Spanish group' (yes, I know...but I haven't checked this thread of lately...in fact, I've only checked a few in a long time) but today I realised they are actually AKB48. The bad news is that I didn't even know that one of my favourite groups ever would perform here (of course I new about the Salón, I attended it two or three times years ago when it was far worse than now). The 'good' news is that I don't know any of the members, so it's like it wasn't the real AKB48 for me. I mean no disrespect to the members who came, of course, but I'm little more than a dinosaur here and I've completely lost contact with most of the 'AKB world'. If you are a trekkie who loved the first series of Star Trek, it isn't the same if it's Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto the ones you meet or it's William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy (if he was still alive, of course). That's why the members coming would hardly make me feel the way I felt years ago, and I'm not too sad I couldn't attend their shows. However, I hope those who attend them have a terrific time.
