Does anyone know what CM is that for? Why are they making Nogi perform an AKB song tho? (instead of their own song / getting AKB to do it)
^ Maybe for the novelty of seeing Nogi sing an AKB song. IMO, they sang it Nogi style, which usually doesn't fit energetic and bubbly songs. I've always deemed Natsu Free and Easy would have fit AKB or SKE better. Still, I can see the merit of the perf specially for people who love Nogi's graceful, princess image. While of course Yuko centering this will always be the favorite both for sentimental reason and her energy, I personally enjoyed the Nishino Miki centered kenkyusei perf in one of the sousenkyos before.

No one was bashing Nogi. Everyone was just implying that they prefer the original over the Nogi version. Chill.

My take: I prefer one mic in front, not two. Also, it isn't complete. One of my favorite parts of the original is when Acchan steps forward to join Yuko and they are back to back with heads turned to the front (and after Acchan graduated, it was Paruru), but this version is cut short. It is really hard for any singer or group to duplicate an iconic song (think Bob Dylan covers).
Is anyone surprised that Nogi would do a tame version of Hebirote? Because that's just the way they do thing, they're probably more worried about messing up their hair than the performance. Having listened (and enjoyed) a lot of Nogi music recently I concluded that almost all of it is interchangeable with AKB's music, but there are types of songs that the 48-groups do that Nogi just wouldn't do. Can you imagine Nogi doing songs like Te wo Tsuniginagara or Seishun no Lap Time?
They just wanted to make people react like in this thread lol. It doesn't have anything to do with dresses and suits but it does an impact that will be linked to the store. And it may make people think "is Nogi already as popular as AKB was at that time?"

hahah that aitakatta cover..i remembered people make a lot of fuzz and flame war. many thought nogi is gonna be akb copycat but it wasnt true at all. that pretty much stupid decision by whoever made that. but then nogi is still aki-p group.
It says Special Medley, so... I'm gonna guess it's for Kojiharu's graduation or something. But if she's in the new single... I don't know.
But they havent annouced anything yet tho. Maybe they might promote the album/documentary song as part of the medley
