Renapon was a nice surprise who got me back into the 48G Fandom - at least for everything NGT related - so I'm really sad to see that she isn't known/interesting at all for the western fandom ...

 

She doesn't belong to the [main] pushed members [yet] (aka always in every Episodes of Variety Shows, Main MC, Center for a song, CM deals) so you kind of need to follow her closely (or every NGT48 appearance) to see her appeal - especially because she doesn't stand out as much either on her own. Even in her SSK appeal video she appeared as very modest and down to earth. I thought she would at least get a Baseball or a Baseball bat with her (like KatoMina with her baton) lol

Edit: And the old profile picture didn't helped her either. It really didn't do her justice so I'm happy that they finally changed it. She looks really pretty!!

 

^ I know. But I hope it'll change in the future. Her wish is to center a song / unit after all too ...

Only the photolog. She doesn't update as often anymore though. The last entry was from 21st May. And before this she wrote two days after the Party Senshuuraku. Maybe she is just busy with school and dance practice for the upcoming Shonichi - because she used to write at least one entry a day.

Rena-chan。Happy Birthday。

The first time I met Rena-chan、it was for last years AKB Kouhaku。
As soon as you saw me、you started to shed tears of joy
This made me really happy。

When I heard that I’m the one you admires、
I thought a lot about how I should approach my work、
and I made the decision to do my best in every Performance and every other activity、 so that I can be a good role model for my Kouhai。Thank you。

Not long ago、the Niigata48 group、and you as a first Generation member started your activities。

Maybe I’m not in a position to tell this to you、but Rena-chan
the value of the theater、you should never forget it。
Please never forget the scenery from the stage。And the loud cheers from the fans。

When we make our debut、we might take it for granted。
But、please consider how to express your gratitude in each and every performance。
Me too、I always think about it。

Rena-chan、I also think the younger generations are very important for us。
You might have to work a lot for the future of the group、
But don’t forget the most important thing、to enjoy the things in front of your eyes。
Happy feelings are really strong and contagious。
And with this、the result will come 。

And in the future、when you’re a Senpai yourself、please show your Kouhai’s the same scenery you saw 。

I think the opportunities to meet are slim、but still、

I was really surprised that she got a letter from her Oshi. And it was fun to see Rena's confused reaction when the letter said they met for the first time at AKB's Kouhaku lol Definitely not a family member lol. And how sad but happy she looked when she realized from whom it might be
Yuka also took some photos with her during Handshake Events when they meet. It's so nice of her too!

now i like Renapon even more

 

From what we've seen so far Yuka seems always really nice to Renapon. Even goes out of her way to get photos taken with her too. And it's always fun to see how Renapon goes into this Fanmode and gets embarrassed

And I think it's the only Senpai / Kouhai admiration & relationship in NGT we get to see more often. At least from what I've seen so far. (Though there was of course Katomina and Takamina )

I knew it. It's a really cool Song but sad that she didn't got any Solo lines.

As she said; "Even though my voice is gone, I won't lose to anyone for the Performance!"
And she didn't. She looked good on stage and it seemed as if she truly had a lot of fun. Furthermore, I think she got a bit better at dancing too. She isn't as stiff as before. Her movements are softer now.

At least she took it with humor. Though OgiYuka was the best. While she wanted to introduce the next MC Group she suddenly started laughing. And everyone was like: "Eh!? What happened!?" and OgiYuka still smiling: "I just remembered Renapon's voice!"

The performance had a bit of Renapon / Noepii interaction too. It's my favorite duo
