I speak English Natively and little bit of Cantonese. I am surprised that there are so many Indonesians fans. I thought most Indonesians were Muslim.
- English - Japanese (but still poor at reading Kanji..) - Arabic - Koreans (Still poor at reading Hangul..) - Bahasa indonesia *and also fluent to speak Elvish.. (The ancient language from the lord of the rings). lol @Kappa What do you mean ? are you being Racist ?
My apologies. I am not trying to be racist. The only reason I said that was because AKB group can sometimes be quite contrasting to the beliefs of Muslims. My knowledge is limited to my interactions with Muslim students at my University and the stuff they tell me. Maybe other Muslims are different than those I've met at my school.
^Its okay. please dont mind about that *please accept my apologies too for you .. and also thanks for your understandings. I'm very proud with your friend. I'm sorry, I feel embarassed with my own self.. Your friend is a good muslims.
JKT48 is based in Jakarta, and is doing fine. Besides Indonesia is very diverse and most parts of the country bar Aceh is more open than most would believe. I'd say AKB is quite contrasting to occidental culture, the whole idol concept is something most people would not get. Some if not most could even find it creepy.
just fluent in french imo. despite I'm far far far away from being fluent, I have to learn english at school. as well, I'm taking german classes since middle school but I'm so bad at this that I can't wait to graduate from high school and never having german tests again. ah, and I'm learning hangul currently. I totally gave up with japanese, kanji must be the hardest thing to understand in the world lmao.
French (native), Moroccan/Maghrebi Arabic (native), Modern Standard Arabic (fluent), Standard Japanese (fluent - untested), English (TOEFL iBT 79), Italian (CILS Uno). I also took Monégasque classes when I was in elementary, junior high and high school. I'd like to learn more Japanese dialects, some are too difficult for me. I also want to know more Kanji and be able to read further classical texts.
Take 10 minutes of your time to check the following interview and you will understand a lot of things regarding Muslims. For instance, you will understand why you are confusing Indonesia (one of the most open-minded Muslim countries) with, say, Saudi Arabia. if the video does not show watch the video here Old reply, I realized, but it's always nice to close a subject with more information. Regarding this topic, I started studying Chinese, so add that to my current list (Spanish native, English untested CAE/CPE level, Japanese N3--going for N2 this year).
- English - Indonesia - Javanese / Jowo. Sucks in kromo, the formal form. - Understand Japanese, not that fluent and still failing in reading/writing - Still learning Chinese but could hold proper interaction if i ever go to China (Where's the toilet, How much this is it?, What time is it?, simple stuff like that)
I speak Finnish as my mother tongue, Swedish because it's the second language of Finland, English and Spanish because my grandfather is from Spain
