thanks to your translation, i got to know more about yuriya. She is definitively one of the pretty face of the second generation.

But i think she could benefit more if she stands a little bit more on the front during performance. Last time we watched a performance, it was hard to see her talking. Completely the opposite of tani marika lol

 

Well, she really needs to talk more energetic, but its wrong that she doesnt stand out at performances!
She is after all kind of Meru's under and centers Melon Juice if either Mio or Meru isn't present. She also has really good dancing/singing skills. Hoshi no Ondo with her is a whole different song for me actually.

But yea, back to her talking.. she really has nearly no variety skills. I suspect that she was really raised kinda princess-like. She had dancing/ballet lessons for a long time already and as she says herself, that she isnt worried about singing lessons, I suspect, she had those too for a long time already.
Also she has the calm older Nee-san character, which absolutely suits her. Its just so liker her .

I think we just need to give her some time to refine her talking skills, she just needs a slight push in the right direction. At least thats what I think, I might be biased here

 

Ah I was really lazy these days, only reading posts and not translating them for everyone, sorry~.
As quite a bunch of posts piled up, I will keep up in 3 batches, here's the first one.

Highlight for me was the "resurrection" of YuriMari photos (there are more to come) and Yuriya imitating Tomiyoshi in one of her posts. The latter one was hilarious!

I can't read while I'm riding a car either, I always get carsick.

And it seems Yuriya got the other girls addicted to coffee jelly. I had never heard of this food before. But it's funny how the girls consider this a sign of adulthood. I remember that Mio said something similar in an interview once. She said she wanted to be more adult-like and as example she said she wanted to start drinking coffee.

Last year, me together with other members weren't allowed to perform,
today it was different.

Oh wow, haha. When I first saw that pictureI thought: "Yuriya really stepped it up for this handshake event." I mean that outfit, twin tails... Pretty high level even for Yuriya.

But now that I read your translations I see that it's her casual outfit lol.

 

^ I don't really know if she wears that stuff when she normally goes out, too.
The girls use the same word for clothes at the handshake events and their "civilian clothes".
Isaw her wearing parts of that outfit on many other photos though. Even when she went out in private, so you might have guessed right there .

Sadia, thanks for the posts! Chiizu had mentioned that training that she, Yuriya and Mashiro had together. But she referred to Yuriya as "Yurinee", and at first I wasn't sure who she was talking about. I like that nickname for Yuriya.

Even though I don't like Party ga Hajimaru yo, I can't help but feel nostalgic looking at that picture of the Classmate girls.

 

Our Yurinee is one of the few mature, outspoken non-goofy/crazy members after all so it's not surprising to see her in a more nee-san role. The princess-like aura, defined fashion sense and voice (god I love her voice) just add to that.

Also I can't wait to see where she's placed in tomorrow's performance. [party]

 

Oh sorry, I didn't know, that it was not yet knwn in this thread, that most girls refer to Yuriya as their older sister. I should have cleared that out before.
Yea, most girls call her Yuriya-Neesan, YuriNee or just simply Nee-san .
I don't think I hve to explain, why. Yuriya's character explains it all!

By the way... only Ryouha is allowed to call her "Imouto", and actually Yuriya seems to love that the most .

Another thing I just read at Mariri's posts today on accident is, that Mariri seemed to be really concerned about Yuriya having chosen an Oshimen at 3rd gen and it seemed to me, like she was sad about what would happen, if Yuriya likes her more.
In the comments section of that post, Mariri then wrote at nighttime, that she's now gonna call Yuriya and talk to her... seemed to be important to her to say this... so cute !

I heard that she was/looked a bit nervous but I haven't seen the LOD myself. Do you know anything about that? Her outfit looks like something she would normally wear, only in a white version.
