The girl group ME:I , which was born from the survival audition program "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS," will appear on the regular cover and cover story of the April issue of the magazine "ViVi" released on the 22nd. This is the world's first cover, a great achievement for a pre-debut girl group "ViVi" has always followed the trends during the audition period, such as by creating a special feature on the 101 trainees before the auditions started and distributing original content videos on the "ViVi" official SNS. In this special feature, we not only focus on each of the 11 members who have newly started ME:I, but also dig deeper into the bonds formed during the audition, their relationships, and their trajectories. https://mdpr.jp/news/detail/4197912
I went on amazon to pre-order this as soon as I woke up and their cover is already sold out there...! Luckily, I was able to pre-order on HMV.
The ViVi threads account has both the cover as shown above and a short video clip of them at the photo shoot. ME:I will be on the cover of the regular edition of ViVi's April issue, which will be released on February 22nd (Thursday) The 11 girls who survived the girl group audition "PRODUCE 10 JAPAN THE GIRLS" will appear on ViVi for the first time ✨ Special feature Now, let's take a deep dive into the bonds created during the audition, the relationships within the group, and the trajectory of #AideruMei! The video moves pretty quickly, so my screen shot samples are blurry. https://www.threads.net/@vivi_mag_official/post/C3YiNStyp_K

My comments on this performance: First of all, so happy for them!! Their first performance as ME:I, the upcoming group who's shown so much potential I think they did amazing and I loved hearing Momona's strong vocal presence in LEAP HIGH and I love her as center. I'm also really glad the ranking positions don't mean too much and we have a lot of our main dancer, Ran in the 0 position. I also really enjoyed Ayane's voice more, she's my ME:I oshi (for now, although I really love all 11). She suits &ME a lot and I'm glad she got one of the "Butterfly~" highlights. At the same time, I'm glad Tsuzumi was still the main vocalist 'cause &ME was Tsuzumi's highlight on the show IMO. The outfits were also great, I especially loved Momona's heart shaped open collar So cute! Only thing I noticed negatively is that Shiichan especially looks really thin. I've noticed the same with Ran for the covers of ME:I's debut single. Ran and Miu were also sick during the shooting for this When the PD101JTG MC Kimura Kaela did her post-Produce show on Lemino, she also mentioned that the members are currently on a restricted diet. I hope that the outcry on social media, also from Japanese fans, will help the girls. 2024.02.28 Memories Tour with Kimura Kaela - ENG SUB https://twitter.com/mycelestialz/status/1763692861198148051 From March 7th, ME:I will also get their own show on Lemino, called "ME:I no Yume Mitai" (ME:Iの夢みたい, ME:I's Dreams Come True). It will air on Lemino for free (very good VPN required) every Thursday at 21:00 JST. 2024.02.29 ME:I's Dreams Come True - Episode 00 - ENG SUB https://twitter.com/mycelestialz/status/1763820561128681558
