I noticed a music video "Ai no Sonzai" lineup, there are no members from sister group.

only 13 member? and no Miichan? she is one of the center, right ?

Center is only Takamina, i guess? The dance start with Minami in the center, but it ends with Sasshi, Minami.
Many people thought it's no3b center but if you see the complete choreo, there are lots of times (i.e the ending) when Minami was in the center, with Sasshi and Mayuyu (not Mii-chan or Kojiharu) as the left and right wing.

That seems to be the members that appeared for a stage greeting and not the PV itself. This page lists the PV and the stage greeting as two separate things.

Anyone knows if it will be released with eng sub like their first documentary?

 

Maybe not but the usual translators will probably sub it once they have it.

 

Can't wait to see this with English subs!!

 

Probably will take a few months, haven't seen any Aidol new translations on Dailymotion recently....

 

If I order this from Amazon, do the dvd/blueray include english subtitles?

Have the previous documentaries had english subs? From the official release I mean.

 

I just watched the director's cut up on Youku, and I feel like it's a much more rounded in terms of the coverage compared to the original. We actually get a look into Sasshi's win and new Team 4, and there's a lot of footage and comments from members that wasn't in the theatre edit. That said, I kind of get why the edits were made in the first place, because really, 164minutes is pushing it in terms of length.

 

Seems like a terrible waste in terms of capturing a global audience. Parts of me wants the jpop industry to take some cues from how kpop is doing in the western world. All these copyright laws and content bubbles show how little invested they really are outside of Asia. Anyways, that's a discussion for another time in another place I suppose.

 

Aidol just announced it was subtitling the documentary! Hooray!!!
