Well, she is the actual captain of Team 8 East for quite some time, and many consider her as captain of the entire Team 8 (beside Nao of course). No surprise at all at least for me that she was appointed to be a captain. Beside the fact it is Team A .

 

Why did they put most of their pushed members to Team A? And it seems like we're back to under representing Team K in singles. At the very least I hope they make Kojimako a senbatsu regular.

And indeed, Tomu is the new Amina. I was really hoping to finally get a Muto Team K but noooo.. oh well.

Now if we'll go back to having only 2 reps per SG in A-sides OR 1 rep if its a 16nin only senbatsu then we can really see a rebuilding of AKB48.

 

thanks for the precisions @SunnyHighland, haven't seen this announcement floating anywhere actually. I wonder what they will be doing with the new Kôchi/Fukushima representatives... Pushing completely new & unexperienced members to have activities in 2 teams might seem a bit risky.

 

I'm worried that A is so stacked that Moekyun will get nothing again. She's B's center in theater as Mayu is never there, and now she'll be behind Yuihan, Mion, Annin, Renacchi, Yuiyui... And quite possibly Okabe Rin and Chou Kurena and Erii and Taguchi Manaka as well. There's no way she'll center a unit or anything. It feels like a step backwards.

Chikarina just made a sudden graduation announcement from JKT48 & AKB48 Group. Would AKB48 send anyone to JKT48 to replace her immediately? Also there should be anyone transferred to MNL48 that may debut I think as soon as February as March 2018. But will there be at least 2 AKB48 members transferred to these groups rapidly after last night shuffle?

 

Yuiyui will be legendary. The Beckham to Acchan's Cantona in team A. Mark my words.

Every overseas sister group will always needs kaigai tho some may against it because of grabbing a place from native members but I think the group needs it.

Why does JKT need a kaigai member?
Kaigai members help to build new groups. JKT is a 6 year-old group. I doubt there is any member who want to be transfered to JKT.

A token Japanese girl to pull japanese workers into theater? JKT's theater is super close to business district that has a lot of Japanese expat workers. I think no matter how old the group is, they need at least one native Japanese member or local who can speak Japanese.

 

It is up to the members to take the kaigai position. That can mean their career in Japan is virtually over, but have the chance of success overseas.

Kayoyon and Sakki maybe? I have nothing against them, but they may have better chance in JKT or MNL. Or bring back Noza to JKT

Maybe just like when Rie got transferred to NGT48 to build the group. Now Ogiyuka & Rika have risen, Rie can graduate. Do NGT48 still need transferred member? Also older groups? You may say they don't but it's always possible that some AKB48 members will be transferred in the future.

The same way as JKT48, in your point of view JKT48 don't need kaigai anymore because JKT48 is 6 years old but it's always possible that in the future JKT48 got new kaigai member(s). I bet there's someone gets inspired by Harugon.

Conclusion: anyone may argue older sister group don't need transferred members anymore but it's possible they're gonna get new transferred members in the future.

Meanwhile, will STU48 get new kennin or even transferred member to replace Sasshi who cancelled her kennin? STU48 isn't even 1 years old (CMIIW) and still needs mentor to accompany Naachan. Can't expect Sasshi because she has ton of things to do. HKT48 still needs her & now she produces her own idol group, = LOVE.

Looking again at the teams, I feel Tano is about to Get Flying now that it’s obvious she’ll never be captain.

The teams look nice, but without original stages it’s just gonna be more of the same.
I’m sure A7 will still be performed by Okabe A, but I’m not excited at all to see the others.

Also, why tf is it taking so long to implement the new teams?
It’s not as if they have to do much apart from moving the pictures around in the theatre?
