This looks like a single that will definitely outsell AKB48's Jabaja (if not at least one other single). With AKB48 being at 1.15mil, and Nogizaka46's last 2 singles being able to make 300k+ after the first day, this year might be the year Nogizaka46 outranks AKB48 (in one way or another).

First-day sales way completely unreal! I expected 800k, but I didn't expect them to sell 860k in the first day alone!

Now what? Aiming for a million in the first week alone, a barrier that no one but AKB48 can breach over the past few years? Whoa...this makes me wonder - is Nogizaka46, although created by Yasushi Akimoto, a different brand compared to AKB48?

(I still don't like the idea why Sony wants to keep its music videos to Japan only, which I think is a huge mistake if you're trying to spread such a big act beyond Japan. Has their Vevo, though, which was intended to bring SMEJ artists overseas, been recently updated? Also, I heard Synchronicity is now streaming on Spotify...)
