I'm glad that Naachan was chosen as the new Center as at least she is someone who really can sing live and someone who can be the next face of AKB rather than mere cute Yuiyui and Mion whom lip sync.

I'm not going to be ahead of myself or anything but with all the publicity and recognition she's received recently, I think she has a good chance to make it into the Kami 7 this year

 

I would absolutely love for her to finally make the Kami7 cut. Now that Mayuyu is out (and iirc Sasshi said she won't participate?) she has a pretty good chance. Fingers crossed!

 

Yeah, Sasshi said she wouldn't participate. Of course, this is not confirmed yet until SSK time. So with them out, even if all those ranked before retain their positions, she should just get into kami 7. I do think some members have a possibility of falling down some places as well too (don't want to jinx it since I'm really glad for her good ranking, but I don't really think Sally will be a permanent kami 7 member).

 

Good for her. She always exhibited center qualities and its great to see that day has finally arrived.

 

She deserved it, happy for her. Hope it's a nice song!

It's excellent that Naachan is center. She deserves it both because of talent and hard work. I'm sure her popularity helps a lot too.

I just hope she doesn't have the same overwork problems that plagued Takamina and Sayanee. Sayanee hardly ever showed it but Takamina did sometimes. I know Naachan wants to take on as much work as she can but she already has quite a lot on her plate and now a center as well. Naachan, do your best to keep up

I wonder if they're setting her up to be the next GM after Yuihan too. Because it's almost graduation season...
