Stage [STAGE] Team S 1st Stage - 'PARTY ga Hajimaru yo'

There are lots of these DVDs on YJA already. I think it was handed out at the special performance that could be won if you pre-ordered it. I hope someone who's got it already rips it and we get it soon...

I've seen a lot of screencaps, and it seems that they kept the original lineup. Damn, can't wait to see this.

Original units? Good. But I kind of wish they would release the shuffles (as well as the A1 ones...)

Upon closer inspection, the DVD cover looks similar to that one DVD of Team A's first performance (or something).

The design of the cover is meh, looks like it is done in 5 minutes.

 

I'm tempted to order one off yja but since I'd have to use mail order japan it would end up costing so much.
Its not exactly an original stage so I might pass until their 2nd stage : D

I saw a really short clip of the skirt, hirari performance from this stage. And wow, the quality of the video is amazing. I also found caps of some sort of making of clip. I dunno what are the exact contents of the DVD, but if it does include that, then that makes me even more excited

 

saw another cut from an uploader site, i'm disappointed with the audio.

I "obtained" the DVD and I was really impressed with it. The quality of the video is amazing and I think better than AKB48 Stage DVDs surprisingly. The footage is mostly from the senshuuraku I think; you'll see why when you watch it. Some things that stood out were Jurina center for every song, Yamashita Moe and Matsushita Yui had quite a lot of close-ups and the leads for Dear my teacher were quite surprising.

Unit Songs:
Skirt, Hirari: I still don't know the names for any of the girls except for Rikako and Jurina. The song gets tiring and forgettable for me.
Classmate: I only knew Rena for this song and my goodness she ruined the song. She got the only solo and used a voice that wasn't suited for the song at all. She sounds way better in Ame no Pianist.
Anata to Christmas Eve: Loved every minute of this song. Sato Mieko and Deguchi Aki sounded great and makes me wish Mieko was still apart of Team S. I like the use of the video screen in this song too.
Kiss wa Dame yo: Yuka was the only one who stood out for me in this song. She's such a great performer having experience from AKB48, but she really shines here.
Hoshi no Ondo: Matsushita Yui is on my list for favorite members and having her in this unit was really great. At first, I was a bit skeptical about having Jurina in the song, but it worked.

I'm too tired right now to go in depth for the DVD, so I'll leave it at this.

Overall, SKE48 has made their mark for me. It gives me the motivation to finally watch S2 to see how much they've improved.
