She was my first choice but there wasn't any up for bid when I checked. Went for the cheapest buyout I could find signed by a girl I at least heard of

managed to watch parts of this DVD tonight, I'm damn tired and sleepy so I'll just finish it tomorrow and make a proper review.

anyway, I'm glad that the audio is not as bad as I expected, I compared the the short clip that I got and the original DVD audio. It seems that whoever uploaded that clip screwed up the audio encode. :roll:

and yes there is indeed a making of video on this DVD, very dramatic. Its nice to see how to see the girls on their humble beginnings. Haven't finished watching it though, I need sleep.

lol, this was the first performance I watched since I loved the caps that I've seen before. Its starts of with Tsukina and Kumi so it sounded okay, somewhat like the K version but yeah Rena murdered my ears on that solo. I heard it once, and I never want to hear it again!

I agree, she sounds waaaay better in Ame no Pianist! As in waaay better! She looks cute on the classmate outfit though. :love:

Having just began to watch the video here are some early thoughts:
Audio quality is amazing.You may have heard the "first stage" songs one million times already but the incredibly detailed sound makes them feel new and fresh. Just go ahead and listen to "Anata No Christmas" at full volume...
Now about SKE48, I have to admit that before I was a little sceptical as to whether they are talented enough. My impression from watching this stage so far, suggest that they are in fact awesome! My excitement at this time can only compare to they way I felt when I first dicovered AKB48.
So, overall a great performance and a must watch for any AKB48 and (probably after watching this) SKE48 fan.

 

I just finished watching S1. I don't really have much to say, it's my least favourite stage by far so it's kind of hard to like it The girls did good though, and the quality was refreshing.

My favourite part was the kiseki video, though. It was really nice, and sad to see things like when the selected members were announced. It also made me wish that Inagaki and Ozeki hadn't graduated so early. I liked what I saw of them, and they might've gotten into KII...

 

Just watched S1 as well. I liked it a lot, even though the setlist wasn't that interesting. They're dancing is tight and they have plenty of energy. And of course plenty of Kuumin shots

Looking forward to S2.
