(2018. 3.24/2018.3.21) Lin Yining (Team X, 6th gen.) has withdrawn from SNH48 for studying reason (2018.3.29) Yan Jiaojun (Team NII, 5th gen.) was found dating with someone in Thailand last week, and she has cleared her weibo account.
This is kinda off topic, but this seems like the most appropriate place to post this. Whatever happened to Double Seven Boys/N2M? Weren't they suppose to debut either today or yesterday? I haven't heard or seen anything about them since the debut announcement.

They do have teams (these guys are Team D). I remember them holding 2nd, and 3rd Gen auditions so I'm assuming they'll be the other 2 teams. As for a theater, who knows. KPop is exactly what I thought when I saw them. I'm really curious about where they got that name from though?

母国 台湾 in Chinese is Mother country Taiwan, but google says in Japanese it's home country Taiwan. They are talking about Macharin.
I believe they were commenting on Taiwan being referred to as a country. Even though Taiwan has a lot of the technical prerequisites to be considered a country (autonomous government, own currency, etc) China demands that Taiwan not be recognised as a country as a prequisite for conducting negotiations with any government or organisation. So this small statement represents either an oversight, or a defiance of that. It seems minor but this type of thing tends to stir up controversy in China.
