TV / Radio [TV] JKT48 2nd Generation Audition

I don't feel like writing a wall of text about today's episode but I'll still post my opinion anyway:

I was so close to coming to the broadcasting station to watch the audition live, but I figured it's better for me to go swimming with my mates. I regretted that. I admit I wanted to watch the candidates in person (or to be exact, see them live).

Okay that was a little bit irrelevant, so I'm going to go to the real part: the two hosts again suck. The programs suck, why would they advertise some cologne randomly, even making a money-prized quiz And they also invited some random RCTI high-ranks to the judgement table, I was fine with it the first time, but when she was given the chance to give her forewords, I felt disappointed. I am sure she knew nothing about JKT48, but she was given the chance to express her forewords, and yes, I know the fact RCTI being the sponsor.

The girls are awesome, although I felt bad for those who weren't chosen. Aki-p's appearance surprised me, it made me happy though. I felt extremely glad Sinta passed.

I just remember where I met her... No, she definitely was not (and should not be) involved in judgement process. She was just there as representative of RCTI

At the first phase audition, It was difficult to differentiate them from each other coz they resembled each other so much (face, height and hairstyle). But since the second phase audition we can see that they have changed their hairstyles so now people can tell who's who. Anyway, Shinta (59) is the one with side swept bangs (poni nyamping) and little sister Sinka (60) is the one with straight across bangs (poni lurus).

31 finalists... I actually wonder if Aki-P will truly reduce the number.

1. If I am not wrong, 1st Gen started with 28 - minus 4 in the process
2. plus Akicha and Haruka
3. I doubt the next audition will be done before the next Senbatsu, with some issues from the main thread regarding the next stages for JKT48, I feel that they will need more girls to fit the workload.

Just a feeling though, I'd rather expect another surprise / trolling from Aki -P

If it's true that Aki-P won't reduce the number, perhaps the girls will immediately have their dance lesson in Japan ?

So what's the deal with Olivia Robberecht? Is she half Polish or something?

So far she's my favorite, but they're all pretty cute.

Pretty sure she's a half blood since she's living in some Mid-Java city. But I'm not fully sure though

 

She looks very way different with other half European-half Indonesian people such as Pevita Pearce (English-Banjar), Luna Maya (Javanese-Austrian), Cinta Laura (German-Javanese), Marissa Nasution (Batak-German), and Irfan Bachdim (Javanese-Dutch) to mention some. I mean those half European-half Indonesian people I mention have caucasian look while Olivia does not. Olivia reminds me with the famous Nederland footballer Giovanni van Bronckhorst who also has Indonesian blood.
